lets_go-TRIPon 28/08/2017 04:11Room is clean, the buffet breakfast has a lot of choices, with both Chinese and Western food. The location is convenient, just near the famous West Lake. Staff are very nice, helpful. Will go back again.
Excellent services and location is just next to west lake

I left mu USB in the business centre, and the staff can locate me in the restaurant and return to me. I need it for my important presentation in the morning! They really save my life!
Terrible stay in early April
Elizabeth Con 22/08/2017 00:55We stayed in early April in a suite for 5 days and the weather was humid and hot, upon arrival there is no air con in the room, when we enquired we were told air con to be fixed and could be 2-3 days. Put up with it for 1 day, rang again and got told that still not fixed no offer of resolution like portable air con, told us to open the windows and allow air in, this is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this rating. Fortunately for them the air con worked later that day otherwise I would have had to look for a different hotel.
Cleaning of the rooms was poor too. My kids ate some fruits and pips were left on the coffee table. I find that after the rooms have been tidied the pips and apple core were left within the bowl of fruit! The Chinese loose leaf tea in the rooms that I drank were not thrown away and cups cleaned but rather left there. This happened everyday of our stay. Breakfast in club lounge quite good if you don't want for fight for food with the masses.
For a French hotel that should be used to having western guests, The staff should learn to offer milk and sugar as well give a small spoon when guest requests tea ( they don't seem to understand how English breakfast is taken). We had to request multiple times for
Terrible booking in this hotel as a Platinum Accor Member
Pchiu2001on 21/08/2017 19:37I booked this hotel using the AccorHotels website for a group of four. Everything was normal in the booking. Upon completion of booking, I was asked to produce the AccorPlus Membership upon check-in. This does not make sense at all. The reservation staff Susan insisted this and failed to comprehend the email sent to her. I contacted three staff other than Susan, there was no reply yet.
This is totally different from other Sofitel Hotel in the group.

sarunrath36on 21/08/2017 17:51Besides the comfy room, Sofitel Westlake also have a very good location. You can just cross the street to have morning run and then breakfast overlooking by Xi Hu Lake. And you still easy to go shopping by walking distance.
