This place really exists! We absolutely loved every aspect of this hotel. The location is perfect, staff is unbelievably kind and helpful, and we loved our huge room (#300) - although I don't think you can have a bad room here. Snorkeling in the reef right in front of the hotel, white sandy beach, excellent breakfast and drinks by the pool. Full view of Tahiti is spectacular. If you leave the property, make sure to stop at the viewpoint right above it - spectacular view!!

First of all, the location is great and bungalows are nice... but... there are some negative points:

1) the restaurant service is quite slow... yesterday we were waiting our dishes for more than 1 hour... and the day before we ordered some tacos at bar and we have to ask for three times what happened about it...
2) to clean the rooms... there aren't a fixed hour to clean the room... I was making a nap at 3 pm and she woken me up... I asked her if she can comes back around 5pm... and we didn't know anything more about her until the dinner...
3) Wifi is so bad... you can pay more to get a faster wifi, but the normal wifi is bad...
4) it's no normal that if you have booked your room with breakfast and dinner included that I have to pay for the water at dinner(water or any other drinks)

On the other hand I can say that the excursion are nice and the meal are nice(but sometimes you have to wait for it a long time...). If they can change some things this hotel could be nice!!

You can't go wrong here.

A supreme place to stay inside paradise and outside more paradise. The food here is so good you might want a second entree. Nothing to worry about because of all the calories you will burn snorkeling.

We recently stayed at the sofitel moorea beach resort in the deluxe overwater bungalow and everything was perfect. The staff,property,service was beautiful. Everyone there from the receptionist to the breakfast chef to housekeeping where so friendly that i thought my wife would start crying when it was time for us too leave. I will definitely be back and cant express in words how grateful i was to be so welcomed at the sofitel la ora beach resort. Thank you so much too all the staff at sofitel beach resort......

My wife and I started here on our honeymoon and the hotel and location did not disappoint. Even better than the view was the staff, who were all lovely and accommodating. If you go, look for Tarona, the nicest waitress who made our entire trip with her hospitality and kindness. She went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed, enjoy ourselves and truly feel special. Thank you!!
