Probably one of the most useful hotels of Moscow for a cheap price, needs some training for staff.
GasimShirinlion 16/06/2017 01:09The location, value for money, condition of the hotel are very good. It is 5 minutes walk from Sokol metro station and you can find a lot of places to eat around.
The reception girl was very slow, not very friendly and copied all 50 pages of my passport. Double bed is not real double bed, they just put twin bed together. Most annoying thing is locker room. I asked if I could leave my baggage after check-out, first was told that there is no place in there, then they take me to the room to leave my baggage but did not give any paper or name tag to get it when I am back. The security guy told that he was not responsible if somebody else from hotel guests took my baggage. So I decided to take everything with me. There is no elevator, if you have something heavy try to get a room on ground floor.
Better than expected
on 06/08/2016 09:15I came in thinking it would be very minimalistic and actually was really good, for a reasonable price we had a room with two beds, air conditionair, shampoo gel and towels and a good breakfast. Everything was correct.
The hallways were hot and the location kinda hidden but it was good.

Ron Bon 02/12/2014 19:43Tolstoy's Levin was a practical and good man who loved the people who worked his land and realized the glamor of expensive places was just a waste of money. Solos Hotel is a good average hotel with solid footings to be bumped up for cleanliness, spacious hallways decorated tastefully, and pleasant helpful staff. If you want average without the outrageous prices, this is the place.
Many rooms without bathrom
Joni-mkon 20/12/2012 14:10The hotel location is not far from Metro station, however most of the rooms are without bathroom. WC and bathroom are at the end corridor of the ground floor... but it smells cigarette. The breakfast is Ok.... The only positive thing about this hotel is the stuff ! They were very polyte and helpful.
