Poor attention to detail
Lonnie Mon 23/07/2017 09:50Great location along the sea. Friendly reception staff. At breakfast one hour before the end and there are no forks, no napkins, the hot food is cold, dirty tables everywhere. The server growled at me when I asked twice for clean silverware and napkins.
In my shower this morning there was an empty shampoo/soap dispenser. Despite the great location and friendly reception staff, this property needs training so that there staff can do there jobs. It is pitiful. Next time I will stay elsewhere and I recommend others do to. I have one more night (tonight) at the hotel and I am sorry for that this hotel.

James Fon 22/07/2017 16:37We have stayed many times at this hotel. It is close to Sola airport and the back looks out onto the solastrand beach. There are seats at the rear of the hotel where you can sit and dine looking out at the sand dunes.
The hotel has good food, usually reasonable prices though these can change depending on the day of the week and plenty of free parking.
The rooms in the new annexe are modern and spacious with good facilities including a kettle and tea.
It is worth trying their excellent fish and chips which are served on a huge plate.
Overall this is a fine hotel with no problems. It is one of our favourites.

Jono Con 22/07/2017 16:28Stopped here for a swim at the beach and some lunch, great setting with a very nice bar playing jazz and serving local beers. Very decent kitchen with quite a few interesting options and the usual classics but above all excellent service and would happily return!

Sitting outside in glorious weather overlooking the sand dunes, listing to the waves and seeing the colourfull kites in the sky or at cold winterdays being inside all snug infront of the warming logfire ... perfect regardless the weather!

Mabel Son 15/07/2017 19:50Tourist class hotel. A small, but lovley spa. A short drive to the center of Stavanger, quiet and has a relaxing spirit.
A bit understaffed at the reception, but the place was fully booked, high season. Great breakfast, huge pluss for real( made from scratch) omelett, scrambeled eggs and juice.
Recomended!
