Nice motel situated close to many shops and restaurants. Easy to find.. Large free parking on site. Room very clean and cosy. Much more than i would expect from some motel at the road to stay for one night. Coffee in the room, mocrowave too. Staf very friendly and helping if you need anything. Recomend it a lot if you are passing by Santa Maria.

Checked in late for a one night stop on our road trip. Not looking for anything fancy, and the reviews weren't that horrendous.
Looked at the bed sheets and there was dirt and 4 different types of hair, 1 was unmistakably the hair of a DOG.
I kindly returned to the front desk to get new sheets. He said he needed to come check the sheets to see if I was LYING. He finally saw the hair for himself (meaning it hadn't been washed for at least 3 different visitors stays) and I made sure to follow him to the supply room, which was grubby, dusty, and smelly.
We spent the night and got out of the place as soon as we could.

I travel throughout the Central Valley of California frequently on business and an overnight hotel is vital. About two weeks ago I stayed at the Solaire Inn & Suites. Not sure where the Suites would be, but this is an outdoor entry motel that appears to have been renovate.
I arrived late, around 11PM. Checked in and noticed there were no clothing hangers available. The flat screen TV was on the wall at an angle that made it difficult to be viewed from the bed. Also there was a large cock roach that greeted me on the dresser. It was too late to complain to anyone. Needless to say, I kept all my luggage packed, went to sleep and left immediately the next morning.
While for the price I did not expect Marriott accommodations, having hangers in the room, no roaches and a TV that can be viewed from your bed is not much to ask for.
Passing on this spot next time.

We stopped and spend the night here on our way from San Francisco to Palm Springs. We got to visit a winery and enjoyed some local cuisine. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the 101. The front counter staff was friendly enough but not overly friendly enough to have a conversation with. Room was clean and so were the beds. We examined the beds and didn't find any hairs or stains. The parking lot got a little loud around 6pm after the farm workers got off and come there to sleep. My only negative review is the room beside ours has a box with McDonald's garbage in it outside the door. It was unsightly but mainly this will result in pest issues if not resolved quickly.

Visited Santa Maria for military business needed a hotel/motel to stay for an affordable price for a week. I decided to give a shot at Solaire Inn and suites because their rate got my attention a total of $67 and some change tax included. Checked in, The owner was absolutely nice and military friendly I really thought I wasnt going to get a room because I didnt have no reservation. When I opened my room I was impressed the room was clean, nice, neat and smells great! Highly recommende. Definitely coming back. I give this place a 5 star!
