A good stay

Very good, comprehensive breakfast. Waitresses also serve you coffee and warm Karelian pasties to the table.
Rooms are decent and well equipped.
The ground floor houses an ambient, lively bar.
Good for a night
Magnus Son 13/08/2017 10:50Location is everything and this hotel has it, it is smack in the middle of Lahti with all services within a walking distance.
Check-in was easy and very friendly.
Room was recently renovated and modern but too small. On one side of the bed there was less than 30cm of room to use (good luck hoing to the toilet in the middle of the night). Temp control was not operating causing the room to be humid and hot.
Toilet was also too small and when showering the whole toilet would be flooded.
During the night there was some bass drums coming from the street that shook the room wall.
Breakfast is open until 12.30 but good to go there around 9 as it will be packed around 10. Selection is good and service was ok (got cappuccino to the table first morning but the other morning I had to pick it up myself).
All in all good hotel but for one evening only.

Marc Son 12/08/2017 18:06Normal sized room and bathroom, garage 16 €/day, friendly staff, trattoria restaurant either buffet or à la carte : good choices but a bit expensive although food is cooked to perfection, breakfast also good ; not much to do in town so just for overnight stay between two destinations

It is a pity that the sauna is closed on weekends in the evening. If it is possible, place the wardrobe in the room . Thank you and good luck in business. We hope to visit your hotel again and will recommend our friends to visit the Solo Sokos Hotel Lahti Seurahuone .
