What People are saying

Charming hotel run by a lovely family

j0l89on 04/07/2017 10:30

This charming hotel is slightly like walking into your grandma's house. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the fantastically friendly old host and his wife and who I assume was their daughter, who showed us round with such care and poise! Everyone made us feel at home. The decor is positively 70's but everything is immaculate and there are cute little touches that go well over and above what you would expect for 700 rupees a night! We had a very comfortable night and woke to a delicious breakfast, which we enjoyed in a small room at the back of the property that again felt like your grandma's breakfast room. The breakfast of dosa with chana masala and bananas was simply delicious and you could tell it was made with a great deal of care. If you want somewhere super stylish, you probably wouldn't go here but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced relaxing stay with a lovely Indian family.

Very nice stay

Small place, just a few rooms. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms, great value for the price. Warm and welcoming and helpful staff. Close to the beach, lots of restaurants around. A street where you can actually walk.
We got help to sort train tickets and taxi rides. Our family clearly recommends this place, and hopes to return. No daily servicing of the rooms - fine with us, and a limited but direct and homecooked breakfast.

Well-priced, decent included breakfast and very kind people!

We didn't have a reservation but just showed up to this place and were not disappointed. The AC room was a divine gift in the April Kochi heat, and the room for the location and amenities was economically priced. Renita and all the staff were very friendly, helping us book rides through their friends on a tuk-tuk/taxi strike day, and breaking the always challenging to change 2000 rupee note. Computers in the lobby are free to use. Also within walking distance of the sea-sidewalk with all the markets and street stalls. Definitely recommend, great spot!

Good Value for money

The staff very nice and helpfull
Good location
Just for the breakfast, a small improvment can be done for the continental.
Otherwise I recommend this hotel

Friendly Homestay in Fort Kochi

Everything was great for the price. The room was clean, had air conditioning, a TV, and came with a light breakfast. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The location is excellent, close to the beach, restaurants, etc. I would recommend this place to people staying in Fort Kochi.
