timanneiceon 01/06/2017 18:17You need to stay at the Sonrisa if you are going to Bonaire. The staff is fantastic, the grounds are lovely, great location! The rooms are spacious and clean with comfort galore. Don't miss the breakfast made to order every day with lovely conversation in a great atmosphere. We would stay here again and again :)
Ideal for a relaxing getaway
motleycow77on 30/04/2017 15:48Spent the week at Sonrisa and was entirely satisfied - quiet, clean and very spacious. Victor and Miranda are both friendly and competent - breakfast is a great amenity. Perfect location for various purposes - any passably capable traveler will have everything they need.
Windsurfing Trip to Bonaire March 2017
suzicoyneon 03/04/2017 11:45This is the second time we have been to Bonaire and stayed at the Sonrisa and would definitely recommend it. The hotel is small and very private with lovely grounds. The rooms are a good size, clean and very comfortable with everything you need. The location is great being in a quiet part of the town, yet with lots of fabulous bars and restaurants all within walking distance. The staff (in particular Victor and Miranda) are really friendly and hospitable. They made us feel incredibly welcome, helping out with anything we needed and producing a fantastic spread for breakfast. The island is the most amazing place, with a superb windsurfing location and lots of wildlife. We really hope to make it back to beautiful Bonaire - and the Sonrisa - next year!

Clean and comfortable rooms with hot water, TV, safe, comfortable bed and clean linen. Victor and Miranda were terrific hosts making for a very warm welcome, helpful guidance and excellent breakfasts - looking forward to returning next year

Simon Eon 30/03/2017 11:51During my stay, I was impressed by the standard of this hotel for the price. Initial impression was it was clean and well maintained. It has nice private grounds where you have your breakfast in the mornings and you can also enjoy the use of the BBQ facilities there if you want a break from the local restaurants and want to cook for yourself. The staff are very freindly and if there is anything you need, you just have to ask and they will assist. The rooms are fairly basic, but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. The hotel is walking distance from the main town where you can enjoy the local bars and restaurants, as well as a bit of shopping too. I would personally stay at this hotel again if I am lucky enough to get to return to this fabulous island! I thoroughly recommend the Sonrisa Hotel as a very good place to stay.
