Already planning our next visit!
TPE3on 06/06/2017 17:38After discovering Sotto il Sole di Roma a few years ago we have never stayed anywhere else. The location in the excellent Prati residential neighborhood is away from the more crowded tourist areas, but still close enough to walk to St. Peters or Castle Sant Angelo, Navona, Campo di Fiori or Trastevere. The rooms are clean and simple, not that we spend much time in them, and the price is right, making it a good value. But the very best aspect of the place is the hospitality from Raul and Mario, who seem to solve every problem with a smile. Having only just returned home, we are already planning our next visit.
Perfect base for a stay in Rome
JustinDeeganon 13/02/2017 16:43We were looked after so well by Raul & Co during our short stay for the rugby international. Perfect location, only a short walk from The Vatican and Castel St Angelo.
Very reasonably priced also.
I highly HIGHLY recommend.

TPE3on 15/11/2016 10:53In recent years this is the only place we stay in Rome because we love the location, the clean and simple rooms, the value, and the people. Raul is always smiling and helpful as your host, and Mario is greeting you each morning with a cappuccino. It is so much more personal than in a larger hotel and we love it. For us, it is the best!
All you can expect from a B&B
Bernardo Con 06/07/2016 18:10First of all, the staff is very very kind and available. On my arrival day there would be nobody on the building's reception and Raul contacted me to know my arrival time so he could be there.
Besides that, it is located on a very calm spot, which is rather difficult at Rome!! Nonetheless all touristic attractions are within walking distance. The room was clean and spacious enough. Wifi was OK. Breakfast was nice too! I surely recommend!!

Baris Don 31/05/2016 10:55Raul was very interested and friendly, also Mario too. We're satisfied regarding their service and hospitality. This was not a hotel, it's like a home. It's so close to Vatican. You can go everywhere by foot. Breakfast was not amazing but it's enough.
