SO SO
babe20002017on 25/08/2017 11:58I was there 2 nights for the Eclips. One of the lady's on second smelled like animal urine and crap
. You asked her a question and she would answer in a pissie mannered. As far as the lady's on first and third they were very polite, smiled and tired to do what they could to make our family stay good. Thank You Amanda and Lisa be back to see you two lady's again.
Nice motel.
lveach19on 20/08/2017 22:28The desk clerk was very friendly, the lobby and my room were both clean, and my room was a good size. There is a rather small but nice outdoor pool and the breakfast was good. It would have been five star but the wifi kept turning off and on. Maybe it was my phone...
Nice low-priced hotel
BusinessTravelerWIon 24/07/2017 02:34I stayed here for a week in mid-July because I was doing work at a plant in nearby Lebanon. It's not a Hampton (actually used to be a Days Inn), but if you have appropriate expectations I don't think you'll be disappointed. Not much traffic noise as it sits off the highway, which is nice. Within walking distance, there's a Dollar General to the south, and a Wendy's and small grocery store to the north. Across the highway from the Wendy's is a Pizza Hut, and about 2 min. drive south to the stoplight is a McDonald's, gas station, and good Mexican restaurant (La Fuerte). I've heard that the Hampton Inn 10 miles south in Lebanon refers people here when they are full.
Pleasantly surprised
travelgirl315on 17/06/2017 16:31First, TA has this listed as a B&B which it is not. Just a regular hotel that does a complimentary continental breakfast.
I needed this place on a whim while in the area and the nearby Hampton Inn happened to be booked so they recommended Springfield Inn as an alternative. The hotel needs updates badly but I suspect if you wanted a resort you wouldn't be in the middle of Kentucky. The room showed wear but was clean. (No strays hairs or stained sheets). The bed wasn't the greatest but I slept just fine for two nights with no aches in the morning.
What pushed this up from an average stay was the friendly staff. From Tim in the evening to the pleasant ladies who gave us breakfast recommendations, everyone was super friendly. The cleaning staff checked to see if I needed anything in particular as I was leaving for the day.
Although I did not use the pool, it looked nice. *this hotel still has smoking rooms, be sure to state your preference. I had a non smoking room on the first floor and never detected any foul smells.
If you need a place to stay for a night or two while on the bourbon trail, give this place a try.
Clean and Friendly.
Janet Fon 01/03/2017 22:05Room was clean. Water was hot. Staff was friendly. Our room needed a new bathtub mat.
A bit off the beaten track--so lodging choices were limited. We stayed with them even though their price was a bit higher than we budget travelers prefer. They had a good many vacant rooms, but offered no discounted room upgrades or site-specific discount. They did honor AAA discount.
