Friendly and welcoming

I stayed with my husband and daughter. We were taken to our 2 bed apartment on top floor. We had our own access, 2 balconies one at the rear and one facing the beach. We paid for aircon and before the holiday I had been in contact to check some queries, they responded quickly. Stamatis is a family run complex the owner Tom was lovely and clearly takes pride in his achievement and his customers. He always greeted us and took time out to talk to us every night. A real gent! Ellisios took over at night and has a great repertoire of cocktails and knowledge of the area . He helped my daughter by writing a note in greek to inform the local restaurants of her nut allergy. Maria was there during to serve food, drinks and was always happy and helpful. A fantastic team who obviously are doing it right as we were shocked by how many people were returning for their 5th, 6th and 10th year. A real family concern that needs support. They have the Silver Moon apartments that they hire out direct which were being rebooked while we were there and were lovely. The resort has many family run restaurants, bars, shops and other apartments to choose from. This is the first time I have ever come home and said I would love to go back.

So we have just returned from our 13th visit to Stamatis apartments. We love this place and Tom and the team who run it and look after us on a daily basis. I do think it is now time for a bit of a refurb. Everything in the rooms are looking a little tired now and need a bit of basic maintenance. The village was very busy on our second week and a much younger clientel too. It has been very hot too. The beach is much wider this year and the sea warmer. Lovely to see all the friendly locals again. We have just booked again for next year. Good internet connection, but only in bar/restaurant and FREE!

Great location, apartments a bit dated but the service and cleanliness is extremely good. The pool is well looked after and again extremely clean. We only sampled food the once for breakfast on our last day and this was extremely well cooked and presented. Great value for money. Nothing too much trouble for the staff and owner. The only thing not provided is a Hair Dryer! But we managed to purchase one from a local supermarket.

other tour operators may allow children but when i was there no other children were staying. the owner allowed all children to come into the pool from the street. noisy and a nightmare !! If you want a quiet and peaceful holiday don't stay there.

Basic but great pool

We knew when booking that apartment was basic but a few safety issues appeared during our week stay. Glass in balcony doors not toughened so could be deadly if banged or children ran into them. Kettle was damaged and steam came from the handle. I've seen worse showers but could do with Major update. I'm surprised at Thompson's for not checking out the accommodation properly. My Kindle was stolen from my bedside locker while we were away. Manager of apartment didn't even contact us when we reported it to nice chap on the reception. Overall would not stay here again.
