Staff training needed
Florian254on 06/07/2017 13:15Location: Just a 500 m walk outside the city center it has the disadvantage being next to a main road but rooms to the west side are quiet.
Rooms: A bit outdated with a small TV set but apart from that spacious, clean, all amenities you could ask for and quite large. Fully ok for a night.
Staff: The big let down. The receptionis did not bother to make contact to us, "Giten Tag" never crossed his lips and was not that competent in matters. The next morning at 9 we were woken by cleaning staff and when this was criticized at the reception the answer was we should have the do not disturb out (before 9 I do not expect housekeeping to enter any occupied rooms)
Offering not completely in line with the price! I expected more
Simone Con 21/06/2017 23:10When arrived, I realized they gave the room to someone else. Ok, mistakes can happen...but how is it possible to check in without checking either guest's ID or passport? After some panic of the receptionist, they found another room for me. The parking of the hotel costs 15€ per day (not included in the room rate). The WiFi is not working very well...needed to enter username and password several times.
Coming to the positive aspects: the hotel is at walking distance from the downtown. The building is very nice. Breakfast is ok...restaurant ok as well...but pretty expensive.
Overall, a good stay, but the rate you pay would deserve a bit more.
Large rooms, very clean, near old town
starickmanon 09/06/2017 01:00This hotel is right next to the old town area so you can walk to restaurants, museums, and shopping. The room was spacious with a bed area and separate sitting area with a kitchenette, table and chairs, and minibar. We had three in our room which included a double bed plus extra cot. The bathroom was also modern and spacious with separate tub and shower and an extra sink in the seprte toilet area. The bus stop is right by the hotel so you can get to either university or the main bus exchange at Neumarkt easily. The front desk is staffed 24/7 so we easily got a taxi to the airport very early. We found the staff friendly and helpful and of course English-speaking. We did not eat in the hotel but there is a bar and a cafe. The only downside is no air conditioning which was not much of a problem for us in May.

Good Restaurants serving good food. The weather was warm and so we sat outside on the terrace. One can have a drink or eat if one wishes. It was a Sunday afternoon and so their were not a lot of patrons which was a shame.
This seems to be a hotel catering to business persons. All the amenities are in place. High speed internet, necessary cables in rooms for electronic devices, meeting rooms adequate parking etc
Service I found professional and efficient.
Breakfast was very good serving a wide variety of international and German foods.
Very nice hotel. We will return whenever in Osnabrück.

Frank von 06/05/2017 08:23We had a business lunch there. The service very friendly, the food was oke but the asparagus with salmon was very expensieve. 30 euro for a lunch Fish is way over the top. Asked for a vegetarian wok with shrimp and I got wok without. Oke that can happen
