We survived 1 night, wouldn't stay again!
Stacie Ton 11/07/2017 15:01We just needed an inexpensive room for the night while we were attending a concert in Biloxi. Thank goodness we were running on time. Front office says it closes at 7:00pm but they closed at 6:00. Check in was quick @ 4:00. Get up to room & had no pillows..zero. Went back to office & she said give her 30 mins to track some down. Found out they were closing at 6, I went back down at 5:45. She made us pack all our stuff (we had already started getting ready for concert). She claimed she couldn't take pillows from another room. I was so confused on why we had to move rooms bc of missing pillows. It was also clear to me she was going to leave without solving the problem of no pillows. Both rooms (plus my sisters room) had dirty walls & door jams & paint chipping. Chewing gum stuck to headboards. Dirty socks between beds. Rooms smelt musty like wet carpet. Toilet was not bolted to floor. Definitely needs some serious cleaning up, from floor to ceiling! And maybe invest in more pillows.. and maybe new housekeepers! Rooms were cheap so I did not expect the Hilton but I also can't stomach dirty! Glad we didn't have small children with us, gross! Wouldn't stay here again for $10 a night.
Serious Need of Improvement
doc2695on 06/02/2017 21:091. There was no information that said check-in was absolutely before 6pm. I understand after 3pm daily, but it only leaves a 3 hour time frame for check in.
2. My reservation which was pre-paid was not in their system upon arrival.
3. Grounds security had to setup reservation.
4. Specifically asked for non-smoking/non-pet with handicap accessible. Received a smoke-filled room that had not been cleaned.
5. Repeated attempts to contact the front-desk only ended in speaking with a phone service.
***I'll pass on the next visit to this area!!!***
Horrible!
Jill Con 17/10/2016 22:05Bad area in the middle of nothing, rooms smelled musty, carpet was stained, dirty pool, Even though we had paid for the room, we left after police drove by asking if we had heard the gun shots!! Did not feel safe there with my two daughters.

wb1946on 14/09/2016 18:56Clean, well furnished, well manicured lawns, quiet, friendly staff. Will stay here again. Hiccups: 1. an unauthorized charge by Sun Suites was made to my credit card and when I went to the desk to dispute, no record of the charge was in computer. Still under investigation as of this writing. 2. Pet friendly extended stay motel and a dog left a lawn sausage the size of a speed bump within 4 feet of my door. Pet owners not accepting responsibility. Maintenance scooped it away when they found out. 3. Three pages of paperwork when checking in. BEWARE when initialing policy acknowledgement as weekly and monthly patrons do no get refunds if checking out early. Accommodations adequate. Staff friendly, well trained as to HomeTown Suites policies. Let the buyer beware as online reservation rates only accepted first week. Local rates apply afterwards.

lacuryawon 31/08/2016 05:33My family and I stayed at the Home Town Studios for 3 nights and I must say everything was fantastic!!! The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. They made sure that everyone who was with me was well taken care of. The rooms were very nice, cozy and clean and everything worked to perfection... Last but not least, I would like to thank the general manager and the maintenance guy for being very courteous and very patient with us. It was our first time visiting Gautier and we had so many questions to ask.... They answered them all with a smile and also gave us a few pointers on great restaurants and attractions to visit while we were there. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back soon!!!!
