Good place to stay in Deadwood for a night or two.

The hotel was not within walking distance of downtown Deadwood, however, the desk clerk advised us of the trolley that stops right in front of the hotel! It was great and we didn t have to think about parking. She also recommended several good restaurants and advised us about the outside dining f area at the hotel for breakfast. All in all, a nice hotel at a great price!

Watch out - they gave away our room

We arrived at the Super 8 Deadwood at 4:30 only to find that they had given away our room. Every AM, the 'charge' credit cards for the room. Unfortunately, we still had one credit card with Expedia that has been deactivated (card compromised by vendor so bank sent new one). We had 2 other active cards on file. They took no action except to give away the room at 4:30. If they called Expedia, they could have given them another card! Or if they called us, we could have. They claimed they didn't have our phone, but I asked at every other Expedia booking, and yes, they had our phone. The woman at the desk was really nice and just following orders. We were able to book another comparable hotel for night one, but ended up paying significantly more for night 2.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Rates were reasonable. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again

We have stayed at this Super 8 Deadwood often, and enjoy the accommodations and service and cleanliness. The breakfast is great, especially the cinnamon buns. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. We are, in fact, making plans to re-visit in the fall.

Really nice stay

Stayed one night in early July while touring black Hills with 13 year old grandchild. This is one of the best if not the best Super 8 motels I ever stayed stayed at. the front desk staff were friendly and helpful - great customer service. It has it own little casino attached and their the staff were all friendly, Also has food and drinks you can purchase in the casino. the indoor pool and Hot tub were nice. Breakfast was standard but had delicious cinnamon buns
Free 24 hr coffee and nice outside patio area to sit and enjoyed your coffee, breakfast or drinks. No refrigerator in room but think you can request one if needed. Trolley stop to down is right outside.
Highly recommend this motel!
