elfin27on 02/08/2012 04:18We booked this hotel simply because it was convenient as our flight touched down at 1:00am and we are going by rail at 10:00am. However, the nightmare started when both our local liaison and taxi driver could not find the entrance to this hotel. We drove past it many times on different routes up and down the train station and could see it but no signage. Our liaison called the hotel but they could not offer any directions! In the end, we had to walked with our bags to the hotel for about 200 meters!
When we checked in, there was no drinking water etc. As all the nearby shops are closed, we remembered 2 vending machines in the lobby. The drinks machine worked. A friend wanted noodles. So he inserted money and it ate the money without working. We tried again and same thing. We approached front desk and the only answer we got was that the machine belongs to another company. They knew it wasn't working but they didn't bother to put a sign that it was out of order! Can you beat that???
For a budget hotel, although the price wasn't that cheap owing to its location, the rooms were alright. Walls are thin and you can hear the neighbours turning on taps, even changing the AC control on the wall!
