My visit to Potosi
G1022KOjamiegon 13/06/2017 01:37The staff was very friendly. Breakfast options were not great. No peanut butter and told it is because the company is concerned about Peanut Allergies. I guess no restaurant should carry peanut butter. The leg on the table in my room was broken.
An average hotel
Becky Ton 04/06/2017 04:01This hotel has been updated on the inside, but had a funky smell throughout. My children complained about the smell, but we all survived, so all is well. I think the smell probably comes from constantly trying to cover the smell of the smoking rooms. Maybe the smoking rooms are on the bottom, and the smoke smell just infiltrates all the upper rooms. More pillows would have been nice, and probably if we had requested we could have got more, but we didn't ask. No pool, but it didn't advertise one either. The bottom floor has doors that open to the outside, the top floor has doors on the interior hallway. Check in and out was easy. We missed breakfast so we can't rate that. The beds were comfortable, the ac worked great. The bathroom was small, but manageable.
Stay there every week
Kellie Ton 25/05/2017 02:33They know me by name and always try to have the same room for me each week. The rooms and facility are clean and updated when needed. The price is very reasonable and affordable. If I ever have an issue with a hairdryer or room key, the staff (owners) are always quick to help me. I will continue staying there on a weekly basis.
Kindess of a small town
Rachel Von 23/05/2017 14:18Assasi and Sandy, owners of the hotel work hard to keep the wheels turning at the Super 8 along with several staff members. Charlie, a staff member, personal favorite, was kind and welcoming also to this small town hotel.
Rooms on the second floor offer indoor access to the dining area and ice machine. The first floor units offer more private, easy outside door access and have nice sidewalks running to the front office.
Breakfast is highlighted by coffee and waffles, fruit and yogurts and a nice size television to keep the guests busy during breakfast.
Hotel offers easy access to many businesses in the area, including several restaurants and is conveniently located just at the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 8. As the only hotel in town, it works to offer lodging for those traveling through both for business and pleasure.
not good
michelgO2242ZRon 21/05/2017 18:24Someone came in the next morning while I was outside eating breakfast from a nearby McDonald's, ,,,said they had found bugs in the bed the night before, took manager to look. Several big wigs came in to review, I don't know what kind if bugs or why anyone would stay in the room after that...overpriced for sure and an old facility, , doors are on the outside
