I LOVE the Blue Inn
kaarmson 01/07/2017 02:23I have come here 3 times This is my husband and my go to place every year We pack a cooler and bbq nightly The people that work here go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable I would also like to mention that some of the rooms are pet friendly and they have a large dog run that is spotless for your dogs to stretch their legs. If you go at the end of June and beginning of July you will enjoy the wonderful fragrance of the lavender fields that are right next door (expect more traffic getting to the hotel during that time)

schwem4on 27/06/2017 01:37I love greenport and was happy to find this pet friendly hotel so my dog can come with us. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately it was raining the weekend we were there so we Will definitely be coming back.

George Aon 26/06/2017 14:26Hotel was excellent. "Out in the country" was just what we wanted. Very nice at check in with a good deal of local information. I grew up on Long Island so I knew about the area. Room was perfect for us. They offer larger suites if you like but we were fine with our room. Very clean with a small "kitchenette" Next trip to the east end of Long Island, we will surely stay there again. Great restaurants 5 miles into Greenport - old LI fishing village. Lot's of history there. About 10 - 15 miles west is the "Cutchogue Diner" - the oldest diner on LI - opened 76 years ago. Excellent breakfast ++

Continental breakfast was excellent. The pool appeared to be adequate even though it was only used by 1 guest in our party.

James Ton 19/06/2017 15:04Very nice for the value on Long Island. Great location if visiting the Nort Fork. Many other lodging establishments rip you off. Highly recomend. Our room was very nicely updated. Wonderful King bed with great linens. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Short drive to the Orient/New London Ferry.
