Clean and quiet and ideally situated

We stopped here on April 30 on our return to Ontario. This Motel 6 is right on the Trans Canada Hwy only steps away from the downtown core of Cache Creek. Unpretentious but clean and quiet and run by a charming woman who made us feel very welcome. The manager of the liquor store near the Shell gas station is quite a historian. Worth the visit to hear him explain the towns connection to the Mojave desert.

Roadside motel with sufficient rooms

No luxury expected, none encountered. Roadside motel with rooms sufficient for what they supposed to do. Clean bed, clean sheets, clean shower and a door to lock behind for safety.
My least favorite bedding type, with a blanket on the sheets… God only knows how often the blankets are changed last.. This unfortunately is a reality of motels of this level and hard to be surprised with something better.
Nice color bedding tho made it look newer and cleaner.
Room equipped with a small fridge, microwave flat screen TV, phone and alarm clock and air-conditioning.
No kettle in the room and no cups or any plates.
Free Wi-Fi with different level of quality depending on how far your room is from the front lobby.
Few gas stations in the area with convenience stores make it better to get a coffee and something to eat in the morning.
Friendly staff.

Surprised super clean newly renovated motel

Stopped over on a bike trip with friends very surprised at how cute and clean would definitely recommend this place lady super friendly also.
Went to local pub and had great Greek food good stop after a long day of riding🌵🌵🌵

Decent hotel, Dogs stay free

We were staying 2 nights in Cache Creek to do the Gold Country Geocaches, we were bringing our 2 Golden Retrievers. So we needed a motel that allow dogs, an preferrably not overcharge us for them. They were actually free in the room. The room austere but worked out fine for us. Actually the bathroom was rather nice. No real complaints. The Free Wifi barely reached our end room.

They computer scanned my driver license --- sometimes use for identity theft ---
They sure don't need to collect that much information just to rent a room. The other places I stayed don't do that. It is unsettling. Won't go back there for sure.
