Tryst with History

Hill-Fort would be few of those places, where you can actually stay in a 14th century fort now converted in a Heritage Hotel. Everything has been done up in a decorated way without loosing the flavour of the history. The view around the fort is worth many evening Sunsets, we miss in the hustle-bustle of city life.
The team and staff is very courteous and resourceful. Mr. Vipul has managed it well. I remember a staff member Kuldeep, who was very helpful.
Only hitch is if the food could be tastier, it would have made the stay experience lingering longer in memories.
Recommended for experience and place and view, if you seek such breaks from life!

Amazing experience

We are not the type who stay in a hotel. We travel and stay for the night. This was our first stay for experience and first inside a fort. From what we felt, there are many more we are going to try thanks to the hospitality of Neemrana staff. It was that good.

EXPERIENCE EXOTIC STAY AT NEEMRANA HILL FORT KESROLI

It was my birthday weekend, so we decided to visit a place which was neither too far nor too crowded. While googling, we stumbled upon this beautiful, yet lesser visited place. We found Neemrana Hill Fort Kesroli good enough to spend time from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Located in Alwar, Rajasthan, it is one of the oldest heritage hotels in India. Hotel architecture is as authentic as their other known resorts. It is approximately 157 kms from New Delhi and will take roughly 3 hours to reach. It is situated in a quaint place but in the vicinity of several other attractions like Sariska Tiger Sanctuary (where we visited on International Tiger Day – 29th July 2017), Kankwari fort, Bharatpur bird sanctuary, Neelkanth temple and other local sites.
When we reached there and saw our room, we wanted to upgrade it, but couldn’t do so as the hotel was already sold out. The room was a bit small, but all other amenities were good. So we stayed there. As the hotel was actually a fort, rooms are not very modernized but will give an old charm.

It’s a great place for adults and kids too. Sightseeing from all corners of the hotel terrace, Cycling, Badminton, Indoor games, a mini library at the hotel reception, Spa indulgence and a common TV room are few of the activities you can do if you want to keep yourself occupied. There’s a beautiful swimming pool for kids and adults. The best time to go for swimming is in the morning as most of the guests are too lazy to swim and you will have ample time and space to enjoy.

The staff here is courteous, not overly polite yet helpful. Room service is not available, but if you want something special for baby, they can provide in the room (Depends on availability). Lunch and dinner are a bit on the higher side in terms of cost, but if you wish to experience the authentic Rajasthani meal, nothing can be more relishing.
Special focus is given to maintain the greenery in and around the place. There was a small terrace next to our room which was again full of green grass and a small tree. One can have a complete view of the village nearby and can actually see animal grazing, people working and farms all four sides.
We booked the stay for Saturday for a reason. They have a beautiful cultural evening from seven in the evening for an hour. Once you have witnessed the show, your experience will be complete. We enjoyed every bit of it. During the show, you will be served beverages and drinks with accompaniments (chargeable) which will definitely enhance the fun quotient. Performers were quite interactive and welcomed each guest by pouring rose petals. Again, there is something to feel special about.

When you are short of holidays and considering to have a weekend escape, it’s a perfect getaway for family vacation. As it’s nearer to Delhi, a lot of guests go there to celebrate their special days.
Suggestion - Do not forget to have a self-sponsored property round. Click pictures for memories and try out the sumptuous food.

Amazing place to be with family and to regenerate yourself. The fort is situated at a mountain peak which give u the eagle eye view around with an opportunity to click pics with sunrise and sunset.
The people / staff at Neemrana is so wonderful that they give u a feeling that u r the king of the palace also not to forget to ask the tails Of the king of Kesroli Raja Bhawani Thakur also about the lovely stories of Queen Nirmala.
All above all not to forget the food which made the trip so fun and give us the homely feel. Amazing place to be.

Thanks to : Chief Arun sharma and Co Chief Yashwant for such a lovely food they cooked. Mr KAPIL Gupta and Mr Mohan for such a good service and to the entire staff of Neemrana.

Super Getaway

We have been targetting the Neemrana group of hotels and when we decided to go on a short break it was not difficult to decide on Kesroli Hill Fort.
Booked online through the website and booked Mayur Mahal. Set off on the 182 km journey from Noida at around 8 am. The road is pretty straight forward from Noida- Expressway- DND-NH8- take the Bhiwadi-Alwar road- right turn from Hanuman circle- 6 km on Bharatpur-Mathura road and you see a small signboard of the fort- 2 km of broken road and you reach the fort.
Ample parking, very warm reception. We got a lucky upgrade to one of the best rooms in the hotel- HINDOLA. It's on the first floor and you have three side open terrace with beautiful village and field view. The room has a hindola within which my wife and son loved. There are small nooks where tea is served and you can enjoy the vista while sipping your cuppa.
The lunch and dinner is served in the dining area next to the pool. We even had our breakfast served there.
The food is awesome in terms of variety, preparation and service. Special care was taken of our toddler, they also have a child seat. Mr.Arun Sharma (chef), his junior who makes the most amazing cheese omelettes, Mr. Chattar Singh Negi and Mr.Mohan Sharma to name a few. The manager Mr.Kapil Gupta has a lovely team working under him.
We have to mention the spa. Mr Pritam and his wife give great service, the spa is clean and the two are well trained.
Overall a very good experience.
