What People are saying
~ 6K/night for 1 person for nothing
Dhairya Ton 27/08/2017 11:30Please don't book this resort. It is a waste of money and time.
The reason why you will book this resort is safari and the safari is worst. The noise of the jeep (vehicle) is loud and it is pretty obvious the animals will run away listening to the noise.
The only animal you will see here is DEER. We went on the morning safari as according to the staff in Kings sanctuary, best sighting will happen in the morning as animals come to hunt. But you know what we saw DEER, DEER and only DEER.
The cost of the safari is Rs.1600/- per person (same for children & adult). The safari time is approx 3 hours. If you are lucky you will see tiger or leopard. But do you think paying Rs.1600/- to see a tiger or a leopard is worth?
In Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai, you pay Rs.64/- for safari and there are high chances of sighting a tiger and lion. (My friends had visited a week after and they spotted 4 tigers and 2 lions just in Rs.64/-)
The cost of staying in Kings sanctuary exclusive of safari is approx 4K/person for one night and the food also is not great. There was water problem when we woke up in the mornig for safari.
I found the place useless.
One of the contact person here is Niharika and she has got very good convincing power but don't fall in the trap.
The best safari in India is in Kaziranga, Assam. If you want to do a safari in Nagarhole, please try the other lodges like Kabini River Lodge, Jungle lodges which are little costlier as the safari helps in sighting tigers, leopards & black panthers. (told to us by Niharika)
I hope you understand and don't waste your money in this resort)
Pleasant Stay
Shankar Non 20/07/2017 15:30I stayed here for a day with my family and friend's family, we had a pleasant stay. The resort is well maintained. Rooms are very spacious...Staffs were very friendly, food was good, they provided Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffet. We had lot of activities over there..I would like to thank the Managers- Niharika and Margret, who were so friendly and they always make sure that we are comfortable over there. I would like to rate 4.9 out of 5.. tredmill and other equipments are not working in the workout area...apart frm that I'm completely satisfied....
ONE OF THE BEST HOLIDAYS
Jay Son 19/07/2017 18:28We visit india twice a year, and we wanted our stay to be memorable with parents and family friends. We ware searching for a place in the midst of nature secluded from hustle of city, Kings sanctuary was an amazing find. We three families with four kids travelled from Bangalore, the road is excellent. Ms. Niharika the manager was very informative and courteous she guided us and kept track of all our necessities through out.
Meeting and knowing the Owner of the property Mr. Vivek was a bonus of the trip, very down to earth, knowledgeable person and a pleasure to talk to, we found a good friend for ever. It was mind blowing to know how he built this place from scratch step by step, its nothing short of an adventure and now we can take pleasure in his creation.
Plus points
- Easy to reach , well maintained road
- The Villas are excellent and well maintained and spacious
- The staff is very polite and always ready or serve with smile
- The unspoilt greenary and forest around
- Plenty of Birds , a must for bird watchers and photographers ( we could see some amazing birds just next our villa )
- proximity - just next to NP entrance
- well organized safari trip to NP
- kids recreation and TT facility
- Cultural programs / camp fire -( we sang songs and kids had a blast dancing around camp fire )
- Food is descent and the chef was always ready to accommodate our requests
-pool was well maintained.
- Excellent hospitality Manager - Ms , Niharika and the owner Mr. Vivek sir ( if you are lucky enough to meet him , strike a conversation with him you would be amazed )
Cons -
little secluded - ( that’s the charm of the place )
cell phone signal is good but 4 G may not always work ( we never had problem as we don’t use cell phone when we holiday ) but wifi is good in restoraunt area
For nature lovers of all ages this place is a must, this will be our regular visit place as every time we visit we may find something new to cherish .
Thank you Mr . Vivek sir and Ms. Niharika for making our stay so memorable , and our thanks to all the staff. we will be back soon .
One of the best wildlife resort specially for honeymoon couple
Roy143on 17/07/2017 17:38Loved the stay in Kings sanctuary villa. They decorated the room with flowers. very spacious room. At times they give calls too for lunch and dinner or the event they organize like a tribal dance. Other resorts do not provide the meal you reach for the meal late but the customer relation management was so kind even when we were late. Though we could not have the jungle safari since it was raining badly, they arranged vehicle for us with the guide to the jungle to make sure we enjoy our stay.
Awesome ambiance. Sitting on the balcony at late night is thrilling and early morning you will feel close to nature. Delicious food especially the fish and allo chat. Thank your Kings Sanctuary for making our trip so memorable. Special thanks to Margharita and Niharika.
Badly maintained property
