The Kurumba Village Resort is a rare aromatic arena; far from spicing with mere words, it have established the fifteen self-sufficing cottages amidst a SPICE haven where nutmeg, cloves and pepper abound. In keeping with the life style of the ancient Kurumba folk, the cottages here are airy and exotic done in Kurumba-tribal-styled roofed cottages, which are, pyramid shaped and bright interiors with pristine color and tiled work roofs. Every room has its exclusive balcony with ornamental railings made of areca-nut wood. There are king size beds surrounded by intriguing Kurumba artifacts and painting, on the arches and walls.

Charming nature Breathtaking views & great food....

harigovindanon 30/08/2017 10:25

I have visited this place 2016 September and had a great experience... The property is located at a tricky place you won't have a clue about how close is the main roads. All you sea is greenery and beautiful canvas of nature at it best. There is a stream running through the property which u can see from beautifully located restaurant and often you will see those big Malabar squirrels playing hide and seek. Hospitality is decent with great food. Its easily one of the recommendable place I visited....

Awesome property nestled deep in nature it is perfect to get away from the city. Very relaxing calming place. We had a wonderful time and will come back for sure. Highly recommended!
Loved the pool by the way!!!

It's a Gem hidden in a valley

It's very good place for who are all interested to live in the village kind atmosphere. Bird whistles in the morning time. One big squirrel roaming around the resort. Be careful with monkeys. It will come inside the accommodation, if you forget to lock the doors

Great nature resort

Once you get there, leaving is hard - You wish you could stay there forever! Cottages are spread through the spice plantation - service is great - staff is very friendly. Birdwatchers would love the place.

Heavenly hide out

My brother & I stayed in this property with our families from 11th to 13th March 2017. Location was in a sort of deep forest, accommodation was very well placed giving a clean view of the serene nature, the valley, the stream & the beautiful birds and animals. Food served were to our taste & I would mention that they even customized to our specific needs, especially by chef Mr Nair both at the restaurant as well as the tea shop. There were many activities to keep us busy even in the evenings, we loved the one with the bonfire. Pool was located in a fantastic place with the valley view. Love to spend all my time in the pool. It was clean and neat. The only issue was that we were made to wait for allocating the rooms while checking in. First room was given around 2 pm & the second around 3 pm. Whereas we were not allowed even 15 minutes more while we were checking out, the staff at the reception, we felt, was a bit harsh on us. Else a great resort to stay though a bit over priced. One should choose the right season as I feel it might be too warm during summer. And remember WiFi is almost not there in this property, in fact only BSNL phones work.
