Love This Rustic Place
Erich Mon 27/06/2017 04:59Rooms are spacious. Super comfy beds. Decent sized bathroom, shower/tub with grab bar. We were on first floor, beautiful patio, view of Rogue River, and park across river. Reception area also lovely. Evening wine, fruit and cheese. Later nice warm chocolate chip cookies.
Breakfast across parking lot. Maple waffles particularly good. I have been here years back and definitely my first choice for accommodations. Plenty parking, conveniently located too, not far from downtown. Next to Hell's Gate boats. Wonderful restful lodge.
I can't wait for my next stay at The Lodge!
peteyoregonon 16/06/2017 07:22This was my second stay here, the first being in May. Loved our suite, so booked the same room the second time. Wonderful ambiance, separate bedroom suite-the bed was super comfy, The bathroom was large with a jet tub and a large separate shower.we lounged by the fireplace in our luxurious robes that were provided.We really liked that the room had a dining table & chairs as well. Our room overlooked the river where the jet boats take off, There is access to the balcony from both rooms, great outdoor seating off of the sitting area..Wine and cheese served in afternoon--milk and cookies in evening. The pool was relaxing. Wonderful Full breakfast with nice indoor and outdoor seating, or as we did took it back to our room. All of the staff was great--but Michael was fantastic--super friendly & helpful and went out of his way for our group's special needs. We were lucky enough to have Michael as our host for both stays. I enjoyed it so much, I plan on booking that room every time I'm in the area! Thank you Michael and thank you The Lodge at Riverside, I can't wait for my next stay!

A J Con 13/06/2017 20:46We've stayed at this property before, so that must tell you something about it. Who would book a return stay if it was less than acceptable. The rooms was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, AC worked, hot cookies in the evening and the front desk staff was wonderful. Who could ask for more!

PRGirl9495on 12/06/2017 17:27We had a wonderful weekend at The Lodge! We were in town for our nephew's graduation and it could not have been more perfect! The room was beautiful, the breakfast wonderful with many, many items to choose from both days, the hot chocolate chip cookies and milk perfect after a cold day on the River (Hellgate - you have to do it, especially since it docks right behind the hotel) and the staff wonderfully helpful and very accommodating! We suggest getting a room on the river with a balcony to enjoy the view. Many thanks to Chantale and Michael at the front desk and Jeanne and Christine in the breakfast room. Be sure to meet Jeanne who bears a striking resemblance to a very famous actress! We'll be back! Thank you for everything!
Customer service at its best
arkinfirmon 10/06/2017 22:20I had to have eye surgery, with a patch on my left eye overnight. I'm essentially blind in my right eye, so that left me with virtually no vision. My eye doctor is 1-1/2 hours from my home and I had no one to drive me back and forth. Thus I had to find a hotel in town. The reviews on The Lodge were very good, so I booked a room and took a cab to the hotel after my surgery.
Chantale checked me in, patiently helping me initial and sign the paperwork. Because I could not find my way to my room myself, she left the desk, and with a wonderful attitude of kindness and helpfulness, carried my bag, led me to my room, opened the door and helped me in. I was stressed about not being able to see and felt helpless and frightened, and with her kindness and consideration, Chantale made me feel comfortable. It's sad that such gracious customer service should come as a suprise, but I was very grateful to find it here.
