Very comfortable rooms and very good service.
The location is superb and you can pretty much walk to all the best spots in Rotterdam + the railway station is less than 100m away.
Air con doesn't work and windows don't open
BadinhoOxonon 19/06/2017 22:34My office being a 2 min walk, this is the third time I give this hotel a chance. Every time a different issue.... this time, hottest day of the year and room is 30c!!! I go to reception to ask for a fix or another room and was told its too hot outside so aircon doesn't cope. I could have a fan instead.... really??????? whilst I accepted the fan (the room was like a sauna), this is a completely inappropriate solution for this level of hotel. Sorry Marriott Rotterdam, I do wanted you guys to do well, but this is a last time stay :(
Outdated rooms, but good service

- The service was good. They let us checkout a little bit later, without charging us extra.
- Breakfast was fine too, with allot of different stuff to choose from.
- bathroom was fine looking, with small bottles of shampoo and shower gel standing ready for use.
- the hotel is located in the centre of Rotterdam. With the Rotterdam central station across the street. Which is traveling on foot easy and doable.
Negatives:
-The furniture in the room was outdated and had stains and scratches all over it. The same is to say about the carpet in the room.
- The ventilation system in the bathroom didn't really do anything. So when showering for a few minutes, it became very muggy.
- there is no power socket located next to the bed. Also, there are just 3 power sockets in the room you can get to. So powering more then 3 devices is going to be a problem.
Overall a not too bad experience, but there are way nicer and cheaper hotels in the neighborhood. Mainport hotel for example.

Room was superb and staff as one would expect polished attentive and late morning check out a bonus.
Perfect though expensive but a 5 star hotel and you get what you pay for!
