Very convenient if you are applying for U.S. visa
KaranPaison 31/08/2017 18:29The Park is very convenient, if you have to apply for a U.S. visa, as it is within walking distance from both the US embassy & the US visa (VFS) facilitation center.
Staff are friendly and helpful. However I would suggest you use the "Do Not Disturb" sign whenever you are relaxing in your room, to avoid being disturbed by housekeeping staff (Otherwise they make several polite inquiries)
The color scheme of the rooms is predominantly green & red, not my preferred choice, but it is not something that can be easily changed. There are a lot of old Hindi movies posters that adorn the walls in the rooms & the alleyways. I found it ironic, given that not many people speak HIndi in Chennai.
Beware, the partition between the bathroom and the room is made of glass, with a curtain inside the room. So be careful if you are sharing the room.
I am a very light sleeper and I was disturbed whenever there was a late check in / check out on my floor, as the noise- proofing of the rooms is not absolute
Awesome Hospitality
Vignesh Son 30/08/2017 16:14Stayed for 2 days as business visit, room was very nice, in the heart of the city very close to airport, Very good food and chef Mr. Malar mannan took extreme care and friendly, overall good service and happy to go again. Its worth of money.
Inconsistent.
Nisha Don 30/08/2017 08:08I have stayed at The Park, Chennai thrice over the last 2 years. At best I would categorise the hotel as inconsistent. Twice my rooms have had stained bathrooms, curtains and walls. The first time however, my room was great. The reception staff was largely inefficient but the security and housekeeping/wait staff are friendly and helpful. Given a choice, The Park would not be my first preference for accommodation in Chennai.
Great Stay and Hospitality
TG2209on 28/08/2017 17:19I stayed along with my wife last week, at first I was given a room with a very bad view or no view at all even after my request for a good view room at the reception but later from Guest Relations, a lady (Sarmi) called asking for the general well being after checking-in and I explained my displeasure to her... within minutes she got the room changed and overall everyone at Park was very warm and courteous... we had Dinner at a Thai Restaurant within the Hotel, there also the staff (Chandan) was very nice... Overall I had a fabulous experience both in terms of people and room. Highly recommend this Hotel to Others.
Housekeeping Services

Every time I walk in I am greeted by name and treated like a king and the staff there is outstanding.Housekeeping staffs are the examples of anticipated guest needs.On time request. My room is always perfect and clean.Lotus is one of the best restaurants in Chennai. I wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else in Chennai! I look forward to my stay there every time.
