It's the people!
ToniaWestLinnORon 30/06/2017 23:37Sure the river view from your own private deck is nice. So is the breakfast, the location and the popcorn. But it's the people at the Riverside Inn that make this place truly great. Starting with Dan and Holly and including the ones I was blessed to meet during the week I stayed there: Jo, Monique, Jihan, McKenzie, Dalles, Samantha and Nancy. I was leading a tour group which always has its complexities, but the staff consistently went out of their way to flex and make things work for our group even when there were hiccups. In the nine years I have led tour groups I have never had a staff that has had my back so thoroughly on behalf of my 22 guests. I highly recommend the Riverside Inn if you are looking for a hospitable, peaceful respite on the Rogue River.
River View at a Reasonable Price
Gary Non 20/06/2017 17:45It appears that all rooms include a river view from their balcony. Our balcony provided a great view of the river, jet boats, ducks, swallows, geese, and squirrels.
The river was so peaceful we kept the balcony door open all night.
Fun Time
casandersnon 12/06/2017 16:13We stayed here as part of our Jet Boat excursion trip. Accomodations were nice, and the staff was great. Right on the river, and a very short walk to the jet boat loading docks, and the Tap Rock restaurant. They also served up a very nice breakfast spread each morning, which is included!
Great Stay
Kel Mon 11/06/2017 06:04After living in Grants Pass for 40 years and being away from here for 11, I came back to visit and decided to plunge and stay here. The experience has been positive. ALL the staff were friendly. The room was great. We stayed 2 days and loved watching the river from the deck. Every room has a river view, how awesome is that?
The towels, on my 1-5 rating scale with 1 being luxuriously soft, the towels were a 3.5. Not soft, but not sandpaper. The breakfast was nice, biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, cereal yogurt with fruit and nuts to put on top, and a host of croissants and sweets. No complaints there. Also in the evenings they have free popcorn in the lobby!
We would stay here again for sure.
Great rooms - nice views
Susieqnurseon 02/06/2017 05:14Here for state womens' bowling tournament. Friendly staff. Great location. Small balcony overlooking the river. We had fun watching the new baby ducks by the river. Breakfast was great with good variety. Comfortable beds and super showers
