Hotel is nice and staffs are also very much friendly. hotel is situated in nice location. From hotel's balcony, Kanchanjhangh range can be visible. Food's quality was good and quantity was sufficient for 2 person dividing 1plate.

if one wants a peaceful stay in an over polluted and concretized kalimpong , come to this place. with 180 degree views , of kanchenjunga, kalimpong town and teesta river below, and the green rolling hills of west benagl and sikkim, this is an extremely calm and quite place in a peaceful locality. yes its a little away from the main town, but if u are prepared to walk for 7-10 mins. up to the main road following the shortcuts from behind the hotel, you will get shared local taxis for Rs. 10 per head(for downhill) and Rs. 20 per head (uphill).
as for the property itself, its very clean and neatly done, with simple aesthetics. they have a variety of rooms in terms of sizes and beds. great views from any room apart from one.clean and big bathrooms. treat this place as an upgraded homestay, as the food has to be ordered well in advance. not a buzz your order and get it kind of a place. but the people are very nice and co operative and friendly. will serve you with a smile.
though i think the rooms are a little overpriced.

We were cheated into going here.The review page on The WB tourism hill top hotel has a link from travel guru offering rates and it also quotes a price of 1576/- or so but when you click on the link it takes you to the booking for Sana Hill top and you make the booking thinking it is the same hotel.
It is however a budget lodge which is nowhere near the original advertised hotel. The rooms are lousy and small, most do not have windows opening out and for the view you have to go sit on the balcony only, the beds are small, the tv did not work, we were initially offered a room with no windows which also had no geyser and ther is no such thing as room service and one had to actually walk to the kitchen and yell for the only servant cum cook cum waiter to be served anything.
We were so disgusted that we checked out of the hotel leaving behind the money we had paid for two days.
On the positive side the view from the porch is excellent and the reception lady was very helpful but could not do anything for the structural constraints.
We had a horrible start to the holiday because of this and pan to take travelguru to court for this. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Very good position,very nice view. But little far from Kalimpong city

Stayed here for two days during our Durga puja trip. Hotel is nice and fine, view from the hotel is splendid. But keep it in mind that you have to stay far from the main Kalimpong City. Without car you cant reach here, even local driver took 20 Min to find the hotel. Rooms are big enough, toilets are clean. 2nd floor room with big Varandha I liked the most.

Staff service need improvement.........pleasant to stay

Terrace view at 1st floor level is outstanding.......we with our ladies & children group thoroughly enjoyed stay at top level dormitory, 4 bedded rooms. Ground floor passage face 2 bed rooms are damp & shabby. Toilets are having water supply problem..........hot water had to make with immersion rod in-spite of water heater tank at bath !! Only two men found struggling to manage guests ............no separate men for kitchen and room service. Local lady help found with kitchen staff once & lady posted to manage reception desk too inexperienced. Some how all the staff were cooperative & management should look into the area. I was pleasant stay from 27/12/14 to 29/12/14.........happy memories we brought.
