a good and as good as home stay
vdattuon 20/08/2017 14:59i liked the staff good attitude - always smiling and ready to take care of your special needs. the food was good . The chef when asked , made for me , special sandwich which i like very much so much so that i ordered thrice.

Not upto mark
ashish gon 20/08/2017 09:34This hotel is 4star but on appearance it is not at all up to mark. Rooms are well equipped and very clean bathrooms but on the negative side balconies are dirty. Room service is good but on the negative side food is not at all tasty and costly and not up to the mark. U won't feel it's a 4star and will not be UpTo your expectations Overall stay was fine
Renovated rooms are nice with helpful staff
Hemant_Ggnon 17/08/2017 11:39Only go for the 4th floor renovated rooms. Rest are old/bad. Wi-Fi is non-existent. Staff is still struggling with GST issues.
B'fast used to be much better last year. Quality of fruits was quite sad.
Multiple times guest review
Hemant Con 03/08/2017 07:29I travel to Jamshedpur a fixed 3 times a year. Always stay at the Sonnet. It's amazing value for money. The rooms, even though, old fashioned are big, comfortable and have a regal feel to them. The TVs all will have the HD channels activated, really classy.
All said, the rooms are not the best designed and could be better made to fit more goodies or more air if designed properly for the space.
The Hotel has 2 restaurants, one is the breakfast cafe next to the reception - very good food, good variety, you don't need to worry about the quality. You will always find many foreigners here. The second is the restaurant at the back, Equinox, good place, good food. But its built like an old style banquet restaurant, so little privacy, more like a dine and dash (obviously after you pay).
I have always recommended the hotel to open a small restaurant on the terrace since Jamshedpur has good weather most of the year. Anyways, the Fortune hotel, which is a 2 mins walk, has one called Little Italy, I always dine at least once there on my visit.
The Sonnet has an ample gym which I use everyday of stay, its under-equipped but well maintained. It does the job.
I recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Jamshedpur.
