kim mon 14/08/2017 19:10Wow, where to begin. We booked into The Victorian Townhouse as we were attending the Edinburgh Festival. We had two glorious nights there and didn't want to leave! Spotless - you could eat your dinner off the floor. Breakfasts to die for, made with love and care. Whisky and chocolates in the room, bars of chocolate too, tea, coffee - nothing was too much trouble. This place is a real find, easy access and easy walk into the centre of town. We've already booked for next year. Aileen the landlady is a real gem, warm, hospital, funny, caring, smart and intelligent. You will not be disappointed.

Jeffrey186338on 09/08/2017 13:07We stayed here last week and the house is perfect. The owner/landlady ( Aileen) was very helpful, happy and entertaining. The rooms were fantastic. Clean, warm and very well presented with complementy whisky and chocolates in the room. We went up for the festival and the house is just off Princes Street. 20 min walk to the Royal Mile. 5 mins taxi or bus. We are booking again for next year. We could not fault it 10 out of 10. Well done AILEEN
Excellent choice
JillnSteveon 06/07/2017 21:23We were greeted with a very friendly and warm welcome from Aileen. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was a delight. Location was perfect within 15 minutes walk of Princes Street. Staying there certainly contributed towards our fabulous few days in Edinburgh.
A great place to stay in Edinburgh
VallyAnneon 04/07/2017 15:38Wonderfully friendly Aileen made us so welcome. We driven for 7 hours and the warmth of her welcome made up for everything. The room was huge and very comfortable. There was even a 'wee dram' of whisky left for us, as well as chocolates and biscuits to have with our tea. Breakfast was AMAZING !! so much and all beautifully presented. The coffee was fresh, the food hot and delicious, and the local knowledge served up by Aileen was priceless.
Beautiful Victorian Home - Great Hostess
Joyce2695on 13/06/2017 12:25The Victorian Townhouse is beautiful. It's run by owner Aileen who is the best hostess you could ever find. She's helpful and so friendly. We loved our room and found a nice decanter of whiskey & chocolates on our arrival. Each morning she cooked a full English breakfast. The townhouse is an easy walk to public transportation. I recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Edinburgh.
