Jennycrosbieon 08/04/2017 23:51A big thanks to Carly who helped us out with a quick breaky before opening time so we could get to the Kangaroo Island Ferry on time. Good pub and motel for an overnight stay. Beds comfy and good meals.
Didn't quite meet the expectation

We ordered schnitzels which came with chips and salad.
Staff and venue itself are nice. However, our food did not quite meet our expectation. Schnitzels and salad were nice... tasted freshly made. The disappointment was the chips. Overcooked, no salt whatsoever and no flavor. It was soo overcooked that it was hard to chew... one of us ended up being literally stabbed in the mouth. Quite disappointing.
But i'll happily give it another go when in the area.
Good Pub Food
MacLachlanon 03/04/2017 08:29We attended an 80th Birthday celebration in a private room. The nibbles offered were warm pide bread with various toppings and beetroot and pumpkin dips. My main course was chicken wrapped in bacon on a pureed sweet potato mash with a mushroom sauce. The sauce contained MSG which is also known as 'flavouring'. Despite the chicken being tender and delicious, the headache wasn't. My husband had Fritto Misto accompanied by salad and chips which he enjoyed immensely. The staff were friendly and polite despite the large number of guests to be accommodated.
Great mid week family meal out

Seniors meal of $16.90 - many choices - huge roast lamb and generous serve of beautiful vegetables (Potatoes, carrot, sweet potato pumpkin and lots of peas) - plus choice of soup or dessert of the day. We had the mini pavlova for dessert - much bigger than we expected and lovely. All food was well presented. One of us had garfish and salad instead of the roast which was also lovely. Will definitely go again - soon. They also have a free bingo night each Wed night with lots of great prizes. Lovely community feel - reminiscent of the pubs of yesteryear or an old country pub.

Andi Pon 26/03/2017 11:32Went to the Chrysler bar on a Sunday night to hot to cook. Two of us had the Cuban sandwich absolutely no complains, great flavours, decent serving size and fast service. The big man had the BBQ burger delicious! Nice meat, juicy and great size as well. Had a bad meal once in the dining area but the bar restored my faith. Nice outdoor area with tons of space. Definitely worth a visit. Will be back.
