This is a heritage property build in 1920's.. One of the best option for family stay in shimla. Within walking distance from mall road and situated in heart of the city. Well decorated luxury rooms. Very clean and hygienic place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hospitality at it's best.

Good Stay pathetic service

We are three families stayed in this hotel for a night 8 adults, 2 kids and an infant. The hotel is good with clean compact wooden rooms with heater and hot water facility. The setback was the service and food. It did rain heavily that day and there was a party held in the hotel premises. The staff focus was more on the providing service to the guests come for the party and totally neglecting us. We had to wait for long to even place the order and took a lot of time for them to service us with just average food with very limited option. We had kids and it was cold we were all frustrated with the service they provided us. Management need to make sure priority is also given for people who stayed in there hotel and not just looking at the bulk order they are getting from the party. We were disappointed with the service and food.

Our first experience was not so great as we did not get the room which was shown in pictures at the time of booking on Goibibo. After so much of hassle finally we were catered well by one of the hotel staff. The location of this hotel is the USP. Food was above average

Went there in mid December during freezing cold and snowfall..and there was this property, soo warm and cozy with all wood work and great service and the most awesome food. we extended our trip and instead of checking into some 'at the mall road property' decided to stay here only coz we just loved everything about this particular hotel

A Property with a touch of Imperialism

Shimla was a transit point for us during my trip to Spiti Valley. We a group of five before commencing the trip were to spend a day in Shmla and thankfull we found Torrentium Lodge. The uniqueness of this property lies in the fact that it has a touch of Pre Colonial Era refurbished with modern amenities. Located just 15 minutes of walking distance from Mall Road Shimla, it is the perfect place to be for anyone visiting Shimla let it be for a couple of days or as a transit stop.
The Hotel Staff was courteous and their arrangement was immaculate let it be the Lounge, Rooms or even the bathrooms!!! We didn't try out the In House Moti Mahal Restaurant as we decided to eat out, but the Hotel Staff were courteous enough to provide us with plates and cutlery when asked for when we brought our packed food into our rooms. The Wi Fi was pretty decent & nothing to complain in this regard as Wi Fi in mountains can be pretty much unpredictable.
Overall, I must Torrentium Lodge is a One Stop Location in Shimla if anyone is looking to be pampered and receive a lavish treatment let it be group, family or even Honeymooners.
