David Lon 12/05/2017 16:03Central location but inside more like a hotel in a small country town with attractive individual rooms unlike the standard business hotels and at much lower prices. Friendly staff. Ideal if you just want a room and breakfast
Excellent location, nice room, but the bed is too soft
sansan Ton 09/05/2017 07:32The location is absolutely great which is very close to the main station and near the Bahnhofstrasse street. I booked a small double room, but the staff gave me a bigger room instead! There is a complimentry sparkling water in the room provided, and you can also go to the common room to have a free drink of tea/coffee! However, the bed is too soft for me.
My "Go To" for Zurich
JeroenvdLon 07/05/2017 20:46I love this place - I stayed here for 2 weeks of every month from July through to December of 2016 and I loved every time I stayed there. The staff are fantastic and helpful. The rooms are large (depending on what you book), and I love the way they are decorated - not one is the same and their quirkiness makes them so much more endearing to stay in.
The hotel is super well located being in the heart of the city on a quiet side street just off Bahnhof strasse and super close to the main train station. Also easy walking distance to good bars and restaurants.
As with most small Swiss hotels, most of the rooms don't have air-conditioning so it can get a little hot in summer.
It's definitely my go to for a stay in Zurich!
Fantastic location and a great cosy ambience
globetrotter2301on 04/05/2017 07:04This hotel has a perfect location just off the famous shopping street of the Bahnhofstrasse. It is about 5 mins' walk from the main station and about 800m to the lake of Zurich.
Lovely rooms with Euro-British decor which makes it memorable, good amenities and knowledgeable, friendly staff. None of the rooms seem to look onto anything scenic but then again, it's a good excuse to get oneself out and about!
There is also a communal reading lounge with an honour drinks and snack bar.
It truly feels like a home away from home - very few rooms and very personal.
While it may be a little pricey however, it is Zurich after all and the proximity to all the sights and good public transport easily make up for that aspect.

kangelinion 03/05/2017 14:57When I stay in Zurich I always stay nearby the Banhof. This place is litelly across the street, and I prefer it to all of the others. A chic, quirky hotel with big rooms. Really nice. And I love the bar downstairs!
