kenbK1582FXon 04/08/2017 15:00Quiet, restful and easy. Nice setting. Convenient location. Service is professional but slightly laid back. The included breakfast is not grand and we like it that way. The attached golf course and walking trails are nice amenities.
The Staff went above and beyond
RBH_12on 02/08/2017 14:41We were meeting our friends from overseas at this location. They chose it, so we came because of their choice. We were not sure how it would turn out because we wanted to do things together and not sure how the facilities would accommodate us. We were blessed at every turn. The old pavillion by the walking trails proved to be the perfect location for our picnic together. It needed a bit of clean up, but staff members Joe and Sayde helped us so much. We enjoyed the trails and cascading stream hike together. The children of this overseas family had never played (or seen) golf and the staff at the pro shop allowed them to borrow balls and clubs to practice on the putting green out front! They enjoyed that very much and discovered that it is not easy to hit the hole! We were able to enjoy the grounds and beautiful surroundings. We had a special connection with Olivia at the front desk who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Our Sunday brunch ended our time together. We enjoyed watching the girls pile fruit and whipped cream on their waffles! The personalized omelets were great. The only complaint is that they did not have "non pork" meat options. We would have appreciated that consideration. Otherwise, our time there was perfect and we said goodbye with tears and hugs. Our foreign friends kept saying how perfect a place this was for our rondezvous! Thanks to Traditions and their excellent accomodating staff!

jacqueBBon 28/07/2017 03:14A breath of fresh air. Great experience. Beautiful country decore. very pleasant staff, relaxing atmosphere...it's a best kept secret. Great for a getaway to relieve stress. Beautiful golf course, and mini golf for non players like me.
Third stay
vitoveeon 27/07/2017 19:45This was my third time to stay, Go every year for an event with friends. The property and the grounds are beautiful and the staff very cordial. Some of the rooms need to be updated, but given its age this is understandable.

MandBBardoon 24/07/2017 01:27My husband brought me here for our anniversary and we LOVED it!!! It's a BEAUTIFUL place steeped in tradition with an INCREDIBLE history. The Spa was awesome...very relaxing and well done! We love the quiet setting up on a hill with a gorgeous view of the valley below. The atmosphere transports you to another time as you dine in The Tavern. It's very intimate and we loved the Jazz music in the background as we ate our candle light dinner. They also have hiking trails on the grounds...even a waterfall! The best part of the whole trip was the pure JOY of meeting Olivia! She is the Homestead Historian and her knowledge of the property and it's rich history is nothing short of incredible! She's an amazingly kind, fun and gracious hostess and it was truly a pleasure chatting with her! She made our trip!!! Look her up when you stay here, we promise that it will be the highlight of your trip as well! We cannot wait to come back!!!
