Christel398on 29/08/2016 06:30If you want to spend a totally relaxing and stressless vacation in the friendliest and personal atmosphere in Ruhpolding, you must stay in the bed and breakfast Traunbachhaeusl. The host Boris Wrona (and his family!) was extremely friendly, at all times helpful and accommodating with good advice and with a big smile, no matter how busy he was.
We spent a week with my family of six in their family suite, a cozy, very clean three bedroom facility under the roof, with all the amenities that are needed. Maybe two separate night tables plus 2 small reading lamps attached to the top bed frame in one of the bedrooms would be perfect.
The buffet style breakfast was out of the world. We had our own breakfast table in a very pleasant and light breakfast room with ample room to be comfortable.
Fees were very affordable, and all of us received the 'city card' which allowed us to visit lots of tourist attractions free of charge.
Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer, we would have loved to, though. I can recommend tis place highly. I guarantee you, you won't regret having stayed there.

Wonderful holiday in Ruhpolding
sirpa1963on 03/07/2016 09:39I, my husband, children and grandchildren spent a lovely week in this beautiful hotel. We got nice and pleasant rooms and enjoyed a lot of our Holiday. Breakfast in our own table with beautiful place setting was enjoyable experience. Our host took also children so nicely into account. To me and my husband this was second holiday in this hotel and we are going to come again. Thank you Joana and Boris!
Affordable and PLEASANT Stay!

I stayed in this small bed & breakfast for 3 nights during my travel to Europe in MAY 2014 (trip advisor did not allow me to choose this date) and was in the area to attend a family reunion of my travel companion. The family members rented most of the rooms in this b&b and we were all very very very happy with the room and the service.
We were in a room upstairs with a king bed. The room is clean and very homey. The bathroom is a good size and has warming towel rack. The hotel itself is very cozy and warm and they served really really yummy breakfast every morning!!! It was about $65 euro per night for our stay including the breakfast!!!!
Since we were "country hopping" (the reunion was just a side detour of our trip), we also asked the owner if they could help us with laundry and they charged us each about 4 euro to do our laundry! They even fold the clothes and we basically gave them the laundry in the morning and they were neatly folded (and clean) on our bed when we came back in the afternoon.
We also got the Ruhpolding city/travel pass with our stay there that granted us to visit the local attractions (including the cable car up to the mountain!!!) for FREE!!!!
I certainly recommend this b&b for those traveling the area. It's very "country" and relaxing! love love it so much!

Gerard Bon 26/02/2016 17:39Hosts were very friendly and breakfast was good. Evening meals a bit limited in choice and only available 4 days a week which was not so good if you have no car. Rooms were in need of some renovation, particularly bathrooms.
