Nice place for not much money.
cindynB40RMon 20/06/2017 16:07The staff was very accommodating. Our room was older but clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night, as we were just traveling through, but it worked out fine for us. It was quiet with a breakfast served in the morning. The restaurant in the parking lot was very tastey.
Clean good location
Kpapp19on 19/06/2017 13:04Very clean, good breakfast, good location. Friendly staff, everything you need in a hotel. Newly remodeled, and there is a restaurant on site which is very convenient. Overall our stay was comfortable.
They lied about breakfast.
TwelveToeson 13/06/2017 14:51I drove upon this place, seeking some shut eye on a road trip. I asked about breakfast. The guy at the front desk said they had omelets.
"Omelets?", I asked.
"Omelets", he replied, so I checked in.
In the morning I arrive in the breakfast room. No omelets. I go to the front desk, the woman there said that there are no omelets. She said it was too much trouble to set up, and that she wasn't about to do it just for me. She said maybe if they had more guests. (sidenote: upon check-in, I was told that all the single rooms were booked, and that only a few double rooms remained. That's not enough guests?)
She started yelling at me, telling me not to be rude.
"How am I rude? I have not raised my voice. I have not insulted you. I only ask for the omelets I was told I would have."
"Well what do you want? You're not getting omelets."
"Well then, I believe a discounted rate is in order."
"You're not getting any money back! I'm not authorized to do that. You'll have to call the manager."
"What is your name?"
"Why do you want to know my name?"
"So when the manager asks who I talked to, I can tell him."
"I'm not giving you my name."
"You're not telling me your name?"
"No!"
Avoid this hotel!
I have been around the country, and around the world. This is the absolute worst front desk treatment I have received in over a decade. The "no single rooms available" scam, the "omelet breakfast" bait and switch, the nasty front desk woman.
Avoid this hotel at all cost!

acoles7on 10/06/2017 22:49We average 3-4 weeks a year at this motel and are always made to feel welcome. Our first stay was in the very first room finished for the latest renovation and the ownership has continued to upgrade the property since. We'll be back for two more weeks in Oct.
Comfortable place to stay and great value
raquel_indigoon 28/05/2017 21:27My mother and I stayed here to visit family nearby. The room was comfortable and the bathroom clean and attractive. The room was outfitted with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We stayed for 3 days and 4 nights and were very comfortable. The TV was good, nice hot water in the shower. Breakfast was standard and adequate, and there's an excellent Italian restaurant on the property- great food and great service. A good value for your stay.
The wifi was good but at times dropped off. In general cleanliness was great, but the carpet looked like it could use cleaning. They also don't have 'Do Not Disturb/ Please Clean the Room' signs for the door which would have prevented the maid from walking in while we were relaxing in the room on a rainy day.
If you're not driving, one note on the taxi service locally in Flemington- don't try to call one on the weekend, they tend not to answer the phone. I spent several hours on and off calling the recommended services before I got one. Make your arrangements in advance of the weekend or maybe use uber or similar service. The taxis were the only truly poor experience.
