We were attending my boyfriends AIT graduation and it was a GREAT location to get on base, and attend a game at the AT and T center. Close to the river walk and the Alamo. NO good restaurants near the hotel and the area itself is kinda scary.
The room itself was fine. AC worked great, but the sheets had cig burns and it was a non smoking room. Door to the bathroom was also busted and not able to work, and the shower head had a massive leak. Walls were thin, but highway noise was not as much of a problem as the next door guests were. Asked for extra conditioner as we were given none and never ended up getting any. Phone didn't work so calling the front desk was not possible and the few times we went down to ask for something front desk was fine besides the Night audit who not only did not give me a folio receipt (he just printed out the registration again) but also was very short with us.
Overall, stay was fine since we only slept in the room but would not go back if extended amount of time would be in the room.

In Texas the majority part of the year its HOT. Well I spoke with the hotel several times for different questions about the services and area. Well at no point was I told the pool was out of service. We arrived a day early so that we could relax by the pool for the most part. Well pulling up to the hotel it was as green as grass. The hotel was under renovations so it was fairly empty. The room smelled like paint. The king bed we got had no box spring so you would sit low and lay towards the floor. The sheets are questionable. They seemed really dated. We did not take our own sheets or pillows because by the look of the rooms everything looked good. The pillows in the pic looked full and comfy. There were 3 pillows on the bed and were beyond flat and small. They looked more like throw pillows than an actual pillow. Then the morning snacks we were not allowed to bring them to our room. We were told we need to eat there. Overall I would say spend the extra $20-50 and stay at somewhere else. Then the Wi-Fi never connected. We tried several different devices and cell phones.

It was ok for one night, because the property and its surroindings was very neglected, it did not show a place with cleanness. We request to change our first room because it smelled very bad. The second room was more bearable. Brakfast was limited but ok (I missed eggs). The clerk was very polite and helpful. The pool water was green from the lack of maintenance, it looked disgusting.

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had from a hotel. I was driving 15 hours away when I initially called well a month before my trip I explained the situation. Because we were arriving so late and could be after midnight and a time zone difference I went off the recommendation to the not very friendly who answered the phone. When I arrived I was told I was booked for the next because it was after midnight I should have booked the day before because it runs from 11am - 11am and of course he wouldn't refund and just switch the date...instead he said we could definitely book another night. Since I was leaving at 11 am the next morning why would I pay for 2 nights when Im only needing the room for about 8 hours. Just to get some sleep and head to Houston (which is what I told the person I was booking with the month prior) the next day was all I needed it for. The staff was extremely rude, the motel is located in a very sketchy area and then this mess when I arrived...like I said I would rather sleep in my car than stay here and would not recommend to anyone.

The room had a very loud chemical smell that burned my eyes the whole night the sheets were dingy the towels were very dirty. The refrigerator did not get cold
