What People are saying

Great location and reasonably priced for family stay in Edinburgh.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great stay. Staff were very helpful and hard working. Room was clean and tidy and Location is brilliant as it's close to all central attractions with some great places to eat round the corner on Hanover st, including the Pakora bar - small place but tasty food and friendly service.

Uncomfortable beds and stained sheets and blinds.

Staff were lovely at this travelodge and location was fairly convenient for where we wanted to go however the cleanliness of the rooms needs to be improved. The beds had stains on them and the blinds had mess on them. The single beds in the family room were very uncomfortable as they had put a scratchy bed sheet on them. Other than that my stay was enjoyable and I'm glad they offer a family room.

Perfect for a Weekend Break

We didn't eat in the hotel but, overall, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and ideal for a short stay and the location was very central - within walking distance of all the major sites.

Very pleasant hotel

Excellent staff on reception, spacious and clean rooms, in an excellent location with restaurants and cafes a hop and a skip away. Lacked a hairdryer in the room and was expensive during the Festival period, but otherwise a perfect place to stay.

Not a bad location

The rooms were clean, the staff were helpful and nice. It was really only somewhere to sleep after visiting sites all day. It was really missing an entertainment room or bar, you get bored sitting in the room, especially with kids. My only gripe was the WiFi, it cost me £3 for 24 hours and would only support two devices, I had to pay another £3 for my son to use his phone to occupy himself. We also has a room at the back, where a bar emptied bottles into a huge container every hour or so, then the council came at 5.30am to recycle that! A bit noisy.
