Stayed in the hotel with our friends and family, had a long warm travel, greeted with a fresh clean room!
breakfast is still great(We have been staying in Travelodge in very adventure we have here around the UK.

Ohmigod seriously the worst room
And stay ever.. you would think it would be a complaint about the noise.. nope..
The room stank like a mouldy cellar
We asked for a family room not realising that the bed would be basically the size of a cot and not suitable for a teenager..
On asking at reception if there was the chance of changing rooms ..slim I appreciate .. the duffus on reception said well no but why don't you let your son sleep in the double bed .. he's 15 where would you like me and my husband to sleep .. on the floor?

The carpet was wet in one corner .. this is where the smell was..
The bath was also the size of a cot
The soap dispenser broken and no soap
When the person upstairs turned a tap on it was like a broken boiler next to your bed whining and rattling

The food in the restaurant.. make sure you have something to settle your stomach after..

This is a comfortable place to spend a night before or after a long flight however customer service leads a lot to be desired
We experienced this evening long queues at the bar where you order drinks and food
One member of staff trying her hardest to serve everyone
When the managers presence was requested at first he would not cine out of his office and then when he did he insisted there was three members of staff serving ... ummm should have gone to spec savers ?
He was aggressive unhelpful and accused any one complaining of looking for problems and trying to cause a fuss !

We are here again in our return and I'm dreading it already

Had an enjoyable stay at this Travelodge - perfect after landing at midnight after a long flight to Gatwick. VERY comfy beds, very clean room and nice bathroom. Breakfast also really good value! Thankyou!

Excellent start to a family holiday.

We booked this hotel as we had an early flight booked from Gatwick airport.
The staff was very helpful and the restaurant food was delicious.
We got the shuttle bus in the early hours from the hotel to the airport without any issues.
Was definitely a great way to start our family holiday.
