Stopover in London

The location is great to catch a flight in Heathrow. Also, the hot breakfast (need to pay extra for this) was good and had a good variety. I stayed in a room with a comfortable double bed. The room was just big enough for the bed with some walking space around it. There was a long table along the wall underneath the window that was convenient for me to place things.

Keep in mind, that wifi is only free for the first 30 minutes and you will need to pay a fee to use it for the remainder of your stay. There is also a shuttle service from the hotel to Heathrow Airport for 5 pounds each way.

Overall, this was an ideal place for an overnight stopover in London.

Not what you expect from travelodge

At check in we were told to wait while the staff talked about something. No hello or 'bear with us'. Kids beds were so uncomfortable that we all had a bad night. The cafe only has 1 one person serving and he seemed confused on what he was doing. Only plus was the location, unfortunately we have to stay there when we get back

Terrible customer service

We arrived at 14:15 thinking check in was 14:00 but it was 15:00. The assistant Manager said we have rooms available if we want to check in early but it will cost £10.

The night before we stayed in a premier Inn due to a wedding. We arrived 2 and a half hours before we could check in and we're told we could have our key and room straight away.

Needless to say, with the customer service we experienced at Travelodge and the very unhelpful attitude of the assistant manager, we won't rush back. Retraining in customer service would be a start.

Unsatisfactory Room

Room description at booking was different to what I was given. Immediately spoke to reception but no exchange of room given. Money wasted

Had to book another room with another branded hotel.

Would have been happy if room was changed.

Great place to stopover before/after a flight

Stayed here before a flight from Heathrow just over a week ago. I found it very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner was excellent and was very good value for money although I didn't have breakfast there as I felt this was quite expensive. I used the Hotel Hoppa service to get to and from the hotel which I found to be a very convenient way of traveling there and back. All in all very happy with this hotel - it allowed me to ensure I could stay near Heathrow the night before my flight but without spending much extra money.
