Edward Eon 28/06/2017 18:06Great location. If you walked from the chair to the sink and back your feet were almost black in color. Very dirty! Tar looking stuff on the shelf. Only about half of the light bulbs worked. DO NOT STAY THERE! Construction workers were drinking beer all over the parking lot, and main entrance from about 5 to after 11 pm.
Worst Hotel EVER
755danayron 27/06/2017 07:58Room had book shelf behind bed it was full of dirt and nasty sticky dust. Pushed bathroom door closed and obviously when they cleaned the room they never cleaned the trash from behind it. Trash can had bag in trash can, not place in it but laying for myself to put in and tv only worked on 1 channel and it was horrible. Bar in evening was below my room and lots of people came out to smoke and yell and smoke. Second night I had to park in next lot because of bar customers leaving no parking for paying hotel customers. Had to have the front desk both nights tend to rowdy bar customers outside my window and one night they even tried to fight her. AWFUL AWFUL PLACE!!!!
Travelodge Muscatine 4-Night Stay
756tessiemon 23/06/2017 19:15Check-in was great but our room was not serviced on any of the 4 days we stayed. The hotel is run-down and needs attention. The water was turned off, without notice, for several hours while some repair was completed. Security needs attention. The outer door by the pool was propped open and the outer door lock near our room did not work. Anyone could walk in at any time with no key required. However, the few staff that we did encounter were friendly and helpful as we tried to navigate these issues. We enjoyed the indoor pool, though the area of the pool needs upkeep attention, also.
Poor condition of hotel in renovation
258raymondhon 23/06/2017 01:15Front desk is almost never manned. Have to call several times to get help. Only about 20 TV channels, one had no sound, two were snowy pictures. Bathrooms were very small and poorly maintained. Had to have water running for about an hour to clean out rusty pipes. Sloppy paint job on walls and doors. Bed sheets did not fit the beds. They were short on towels on one day.
Staff is over worked
