Room was very bare, only one washcloth, towels threadbare, pillows lumpy. Shower head was at shoulder height, very hard water, shower would not shut off completely. Accessories minimal, one flat plastic package of shampoo. Breakfast was coffee, orange juice, and some small muffins on the windowsill in the office. We moved down the street to the Days inn, which was an incredible upgrade, at about the same price.

I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the establishment, and the great customer service. Feels like i made a friend with the owner who was especially concerned with the comfort and happiness of their customers.

Never stay here...

DO NOT BOOK LODGING HERE!!!

My wife and booked a room online for one night here for the night of March 13th. On arrival and check in we were offered room #121. When we inspected the room we found the floor dirty and a chunk of carpet missing, the bed sheet soiled or stained (we couldn't tell which) and near thread bare. The top sheet on the bed had a cigarette burn hole in it.

We asked for another room explaining what we found in #121. The clerk graciously gave us another room, #127. On inspection we found the bed with no top sheet, the sheets badly won to near thread bare, the bath faucet dripped very badly and the floor in this room also had a large frayed edge adjacent to the hard flooring leading to the bathroom.
We returned to the clerk once again and asked for a refund because we felt this place was unsuitable for us.

We're not clean freaks but do expect reasonable quality and cleanliness.

Not finding anything near satisfaction here we wanted to search out for ourselves another place to spend the night.
The clerk explaned she couldn't refund us but could offer an upgrade room, #135. We cautiously accepted the offer finding problems with the bed again with a pillow cover had a cigarette burn hole in it and floor dirty.

With three rooms of such poor quality we asked the clerk again for a refund which was declined then asked that the manager call us to discuss what we found.

We didn't hear from him. We've called since three times asking him to call us and leaving messages and our return phone number without hearing from anyone.

So, today I am posting this very poor review.

This Motel has some positive things going for it. The staff is exceptionally friendly. They will go out of their way for you and do it with a smile. The property is very clean. It's located in a quiet part of the city and I felt my family was safe while we were there. Our room consisted of 2 queen beds and a small kitchen.

The reason it received 2 stars was that it is very dated, I'm guessing the mid 80's. I have attached some pictures for you to look at. My 12 year old daughter chuckled at the rooms TV, the kitchen appliances were barely functional, and one of the mattress tags was dated 2003 (the other one was missing). The mattresses had long exceeded their life span and I'm sure they would have some pretty interesting stories if they could talk.

After checking in, my wife wanted to go to Walmart. She bought new sheets and pillows and used those on the bed that she and my daughter shared. While I was good with the house linen, they were not going to use it. My family did not outwardly complain, none the less, I could tell they were a bit disappointed with my choice of hotel/motel.

Would I stay here again? For $125 per night the answer is simply no. Next time I will pay the extra and stay in a place with a nicer room. However if the price was $50, I would strongly consider it. As for my wife, she wouldn't stay here again no matter the price.

In conclusion the property was clean, quiet, & safe. The staff was friendly, however the accommodations just weren't up to par.

Pretty disappointing experience. Stayed here for a week while visiting family. Rooms a bit dingey, but we could have handled that. However room only cleaned once in seven days despite complaining to the front desk after we were missed two days in a row. Toiletries, towels and beverage supplies thus only replenished once in seven days. Had to walk to main office to get clean towels ourselves. A broken down car filled with boxes and seemingly unused sat across our room the whole time. Pool was ICE cold which was a huge disappointment for our kids - and we are from Canada and swim in cold water all the time. This water was FREEZING.
Wouldn't recommend at all.
