What People are saying

Fantastic small luxury hotel

Sara Bon 17/06/2017 18:12

Lovely hotel with all rooms as suites. Almost feel you are sleeping on the beach as all rooms are so close. Lovely Caribean decor, simple but chic with a great sitting room, outside balcony and large bathroom. Staff are the best, delightful and attentive with many staff having been there for years. The sundeds on the beach and poolside are excellent with beach towels and waiter service. Complimentary fruit and iced towels were a lovely touch. Breakfast and all food in the reaturant was lovely with views out over the pool and ocean.Very well situated, being close to evrywhere with a short taxi ride. The small, clublike atmosphere made for a great relaxing stay.

we return 32 years after our last stay !

alanEastSussexUkon 09/06/2017 12:20

A long time 32 years but although we have visited barbados regularly over the last 15 years and had lunch here most times this was an 11 night say .
we found the "suites " pool or sea view a little small for us so chose the wonderfully named hemingway suite a very large suite of rooms with a large covered terrace
large lounge and bathroom - someone mentioned that the late michael winner
stayed here whilst the sandy lane was refurbed some years ago-we could imagine this .
The staff are what makes the hotel richard in the bar, all the restaurant staff and the beach guys - we like the breakfasts and lunches - a word for the spicy gazpacho
the excellent flying fish , blackened fish (mahi mahi !!) and burger with the very best crispy chips on the isl;and.
Dinner was less attractive in the too brightly lit restaurant - a bit of a downer
but - and I guess most people would not realise this - next door at the tamarind cove a very short walk there is life , music often , very good service and good food-
we frequently went there . The group that owns this the elegant hotel group - has just bought the treasure beach as another reviewer has said lets hope they keep what is charming about treasure beach - the staff - whilst upgrading the facilities.
Look forward to seeing it next year-incidentally the setting with that large mahogany tree in the middle framing the sea view is magical .

Paradise Found !!

hendricks4Steve2017on 30/05/2017 21:47

What a great location, on beautiful Paynes Bay, where the fluffy white sand and the clear blue sea conspire to make this a recipe for a great holiday. We loved the traditional feel to the rooms, and the ample space that they offer, with great views.... and we particularly liked the fruit kebabs and ice cold towels which are brought to your sunbed every day.....a lovely touch. A very friendly and welcoming team, where Wayne and Ozzie in the al fresco diner have always got a story for you, and where Baker ensures that you 'keep cool' on the sunbed. There is loads to do on the west coast of Barbados, and the hotel is ideally placed to be able to visit the variety of eateries and bars that are on offer.

Simply beautiful

My first time to the Caribbean and I think I found paradise!
Two weeks at Treasure Beach and I could easily have stayed longer. The staff are amazing - all so friendly, helpful & accommodating. The dining staff Wayne, Kevin, Richard, David & Likita plus Rico & Baker at the beach - thank you all. Plus Camille who with a friendly smile ensured guests were happy
As my Dad had a special birthday, we were given upgraded rooms which were beautiful
We had half board which could be a little repetitive but the chefs happily altered meals if we asked and all was delicious. There are wonderful restaurants that are easy to get to if you fancy eating out.
The hotel is right by the beach and the sea a delight to swim in
I felt Jason, the Manager, to be dismissive , but that didn't spoil what was otherwise a holiday I will cherish with great memories. Who knows, maybe I will get to return!
The hotel was being taken over by new owners when we left. I do hope they look after the great staff that are there and will not alter the hotel too much to take away it's present ambience

Wedding and Honeymoon

kadavis26on 23/05/2017 23:22

We recently got married at treasure beach and then stayed for an extra week a few days afterwards for our honeymoon. The entire staff was amazing and great at helping us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff made sure the wedding went smoothly and helped us get everything in order to go and sign the papers in Bridgetown. We were able to Facebook live the ceremony to people back at home and the wifi connection worked great just off the beach where the ceremony took place. When we arrived a couple days later to check in for our honeymoon the general manager had upgraded our room free of charge. We greatly appreciated this and had an amazing week. I would definitely recommend treasure beach to anyone looking to get married in Barbados. We had 27 guests with us and they ensured that everyone had a seat. They are a small and very relaxing place to stay. The food and drinks at the restaurant and bar were great as well. We will be returning the future for sure! Thank you to everyone at treasure Beach!
