Golf Weekend

Been to Treetops several times. Love it. Great views, great golf. From what I see Treetops' niche is guys golf weekends and they are extremely good at it. That also brings along the baggage of 500+ heavily intoxicated golfers roaming the resort and golf courses. Which, if you're one of them, is just fine. But if you bring your family/kids, be forewarned.

As for the rooms/resort, knowing that a bunch drunk guys use the resort every weekend all summer, the resort is in decent shape. It's no secret that drunk guys are extremely hard on things. haha. Shower was redone recently and was very nice.

Great trip as always, Treetops staff. Already looking forward to next year.

Company and golf were great--resort getting better.

We went to Treetops to play Threetops--and visit. We are a foursome of women that all play a lot of golf. First off--the 4 rating is because of the staff. Very nice at every juncture--check in, golf, restaurant, snack bar, reservations....all lovely and friendly. We stayed at The Inn--check in is at the The Lodge. The room was recently updated--and looked lovely--new carpet, paint, comfy bed, nice tile in bathroom. But it is still an old building and a little noisy--water pressure not great in the shower. Common areas in the hotel are still being remodeled. It is convenient staying at Treetops--keeping in mind all of the courses but one are located about 3 miles away.
I will say we were the only foursome of women I saw all weekend. We spent a lot of the weekend watching overly drunk men play bad golf. There were several men that were disrespectful in general to us--but that's not the resort's fault. They insisted on trying to intrude and because we were not interested, we were "--itches". They left beer cans all over the hotel--inside and out. I'm all for fun--but my god people work here and have to clean up after you. Keep in mind my 3 friends are married-- I am not. I have golfed many years in a mostly mens league and enjoy men very much--just wish they could act like grown ups.
Anyway--we loved Threetops--much preferred the Premier course over the Signature.

Really Marginal Dinner experience

Let me start by saying that Latisha was awesome. Had dinner with 7 other guests. My dinner came out 7 minutes after everyone else. Orders an appetizer that was brought out with dinner. Really disappointed that a "world class resort" would serve meals like that. Ordered a hot dog at the halfway house and they didn't have onions or relish. Really disappointed with this place. The rooms are very tired, even after haven been "remodeled. Was very embarrassed to have brought my friends here. A very tired resort. I would strongly suggest that you look elsewhere if booking a golf trip. Won't ever return or recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing wedding at Treetops!

We had not experienced Treetops prior to our visit and decision to get married there May 2017. Even though the resort was in the middle of staffing changes and a $4.5 million renovation, they did everything to ensure our day was perfect and our guests accommodated for! The new renovations really update the rooms nicely. The golf courses are first class. The Legends bar and the catering menu had amazingly good food! People couldn't stop raving about our delicious wedding food. A few mishaps along the way were always quickly compensated for or fixed which was extremely appreciated since issues will always arise with a large event! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue or better staff to work with!

We have a golf outing here every year and the staff is very accommodating. Breana, Joslyn, Kinsey and Kaycie were great! They made sure we had fun and treated us very well. Would definitely recommend for golf trips
