Calm place in a grazy spot
bktravel2017932on 31/07/2017 15:35Arriving late and without reservation, the hotel staff at reception was very supportive. Room provided offered ocean view and the hotel has good HVAC and quiet spots. The breakfast buffet is okay, but occupation and noise Level is extremly high. A Little bit away from the crazy city center.
Disappointing
D Hon 10/03/2017 15:58Our room was not square, as it was on a corner. All the walls and tiling were at angles, which I found very disconcerting. The hotel is very tired, and in need of lots of TLC. Being at the northern most end of the hotel area, most places were shut. There is a pleasant walkway against the beach, but unfortunately being early March very little was open.
The food was very basic, and several meals, we found nothing to eat. Fine if you like fish, as this featured every day.Often when food ran out, it was not replaced for quite a while. Food that should have been hot, such as chips, meat, etc were cold. Warming them in the microwave was not a success. We thought that several items may be from the previous day, such as croissants. In fact one evening we sent out for a pizza.
There was a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms, and those above us.
Far from the center
Nadya-nnon 20/02/2017 18:35The rooms and food are fine and the service is good. But the hotel is absolutely overcrowded with people. So there are long queues to absolutely everything: to check-in (we spent 50 min waiting), to check-out, to receive keys from the locker, to enter the restaurant, to exit the restaurant, to enter the elevator and etc.
Do not take rooms which windows go to the patio with pool and the scene. It's a nightmare. If you live in such room, don't expect you'll go to sleep before midnight - there will be music, shouts, clatter until 00:00. First they gave us room on the second floor just above the scene - we felt as if the show downstairs took place in our room. Then they moved us to the 9th floor and it was almost the same. And the problem is that rooms with double beds are only in this place (above the scene). The next time we'll better rent an apartment without everyday entertaining program.
Another minus - hotel is located in the end of the city. There are few restaurants and no shops (except one supermarket). From the train station Gandia Playa there are 3,5 km, if you are going on the bus to the train station in the center of Gandia - it will take 30-60 min (the distance is small, but the bus stops near every hotel and the process of embarking is really slow). So this is not the best place to live if you're planning to travel a lot.
Everyone helpful and friendly service and great

SLGTRIPSon 26/04/2016 14:45So sad, the city looks like a subburb of a big City,
There are to many buildings.
The beach looks nice but it wasn't the right time to go there for beach time.
About the Hotel, nice size of room, clean, just the TV is ridiculous, so small.
Breakfast average, but for the price we paid it is OK !
