Gavanimon 09/06/2017 22:48Driving up to the hotel I was saying, "What have we gotten into?" The exterior of the Hotel, especially the parking area, is in need of repair, BUT - the room was neat and clean, Actually one of the neatest room we have stayed in. Why did I pick it? Well, the price was right, but, more importantly, that accepted pets and at no additional charge. The breakfast service was the usual: Make your own waffles, juice, coffee, oatmeal, pre-made breakfast sandwiches were a first for us.
Way better than the other reviews claim
Peter Son 01/06/2017 02:39I needed a place to stay near Ithaca over Cornell graduation weekend and was dismayed to see that every hotel I initially found was either sold-out or ridiculously overpriced. Then I noticed the Trip Hotel had availability at a reasonable price. However, I was frightened by all the extremely negative reviews on Trip Advisor.
Well I didn't have much choice so I decided to take a chance. And I must say that my experience with Trip Hotel was just fine. The hotel's not perfect – the pool is under reconstruction, a couple of bathroom faucets could use a bit of adjustment – but everything was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I'd certainly come here again.
Dilapidated pit of horrors!!! Avoid at all costs!!!
JoKiddoon 30/05/2017 20:23Where is the health department? Ok, the parking lot is impossible, full of holes large enough to lose your car. There is no marked entry. Once found, it was dangerous to leave the car because the overhead panels were rusted out and hanging precariously. Our room was past the "pool" which was so neglected that it is growing things. Raw electrical wires hang from walls. No security! In room, a lamp with no chair, a refrigerator area with no fridge, a microwave area with no microwave, a dirty coffee machine, cheap shampoo and no conditioner, not that we could have entered the moldy bath tub. There is a safe but we felter safer locking things in the car as it was sketchy. I took some photos as it is difficult to believe this review unless you see it. We had to stay here for Cornell commencement as everything was sold out before we knew we could go. They charged us $327 for this pit of horrors,
Scariest looking hotel ever
Sonsonattaon 17/04/2017 22:23Really horrible looking place. Why Why Why would anyone stay here? near Cornell but nothing else to recommend it. It seriously looks condemned/closed. We thought it was a joke hotel/name. Location is good if it could have an overhaul.
