Smoking room even if booking non-smoking!
jennypB469WJon 26/06/2017 10:58We booked two non-smoking rooms for two adults and two teenagers. The greeting at the check in was terrible, no smile at all and a very nonchalant approach. The orange juice didn't make up for that...
Entering our rooms we got chocked - stinking from smoke! We immediately went back to the check in counter and questioning why we got rooms on a smoker floor even if the hotel has at least 7 non smokers floor. My booking confirmation said clearly non-smoker. I was then told in a very rude and arrogant tone that it was just a request - and not an actual booking. I was amazed, this have never ever happened before. They could maybe give us one room on a different floor but with the kids that wasn't any option for us, we wanted to stay on the same floor as requested in the booking (yes, that was a request). We could at least have expected them to tell us that they unfortunately couldn't meet our booking preferences but nothing at all. Would they expect us not to notice the stinky condition of the room?! It also makes us wonder if we had booked a room for disabled, would that also be treated as a request...?
The pool area doesn't fulfill the description, the Jacuzzis where empty and the small pool very cold. No towels, we had to take the ones from our room.
To charge €4 for wifi 2017 seems very old fashioned!
I have never experienced such a rude "service" and will never book this hotel again.

572drewron 22/06/2017 21:50The hotel has great facilities, breakfast is excellent, wifi is good but a hassle to get free, staff are friendly. Room and beds were good but no air conditioner making sleeping very difficult on hot days!

Traveller_Tomascoon 07/06/2017 22:12We catches this hotel on our way to Hamburg Airport. A nice place and related rates. The room is nice and the view perfect; we also had dinner in the nicely decorated Stube; the food is fresh and nice!! Really a nice place to be

79royhon 03/04/2017 08:30Seen on booking.com with luxury bathroom, luxury rooms and so on. Looked great on pics but after arrival things turned out to be different. My stay was ok but expectation was higher after seing thos pictures.
