Very good service and the rooms are real good.
Average but OK hotel
Waytonon 06/03/2017 18:55It's a 3 star hotel so there is a limit to what one can expect. It has a good location for visits to Lübeck and Hamburg but the surrounding area is actually worth a visit - the retired chancellor Bismarck settled not too far from Bad Oldelsoe.
Room was spacy and well kept but with no extras. A comfortable chair or tea/coffe making facilities would have been nice.
We had a voucher which included 'dinner'. Food was OK but a bit dull and could with a little effort have been a more pelasant experience. Breakfast was OK.
Best was the friendly staff - and the quietness. Mind you we were there during a weekend so it might be different on working days.
Solid business stop over with no frills
Tom Mon 16/02/2017 17:33Only stayed here for one night while visiting a supplier. There wasn't a great deal of choice in the town and this was recommended as the best. It was very simple with rather tired public areas and restaurant was a help yourself buffet style. Food was palatable without being exciting. Room again basic but I can say the bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay here again if in the town.
A little dissapointed
pial260on 07/02/2017 16:35The staff were kind and the service too. The rooms are too small and too Warm to sleep in and the food was almost the same every night. It was okay food. We did NOT recieve our welcome drink AS Promised. But it was a Nice weekend and Lübeck is wonderful
Service unfriendly and insufficient
Loris Ron 10/01/2017 12:10I've been there three times in five weeks time on business trips. Each time for three nights.
The second time, I forgot a t-shirt in the bathroom, I call them to tell that I'll be back 3 days later, in order to keep the t-shirt apart. Well, nobody saw that t-shirt! So it was thrown away!
The third time, apart from the t-shirt, of which nobody of the reception staff cared, they gave me a different kind of room, not the suite my manger booked and payed. They changed it as I told them, the day after I arrived, but they had tried the same with other three colleagues of mine.
