Only lunch at the Tapas bar
vic9921on 11/05/2017 17:10This is an excellent hotel, one favoured by flight crew. We called in to their Tapas bar for lunch and had the set lunch. Three light but perfect courses with a drink cost just €15 each. The ambience was modern, smart and relaxed and the service excellent.
Definitely recommended.
Short Stay
LeisureGuy32on 10/05/2017 18:57The Tryp Melilla hotel is another older hotel that has been taken over by the Mellia/Tryp group! Located right on the water front across the road from Port Norray! The first impression of a bright open reception is lovely with lots of comfy armchairs. We were given our room well before normal check in which was very much appreciated! The room itself though basic, Nearly all feature twin beds!! Was perfectly adequate! Toiletries were also basic with just soap an body wash! There was a deposit & daily charge for the safe which I thought was a bit poor for a 4* hotel! Other features of the hotel include a nice restaurant, bar with lovely friendly staff & a small fitness room! The booking.com pics showed a lovely outdoor terrace with day beds & tables but was no where to be found!! We spent most of our time exploring the city & nearby fort but it would Have been nice to have somewhere outdoors to sit & enjoy the evening sun!
Tryp hotel Melilla
Andrés Con 09/05/2017 22:44Hotel with normal standards but perhaps above average for the local circumstances since I did not see many hotels with many facilities.
The hotel has an acceptable breakfast, friendly staff and a perfect location. Would choose it again if I were to come back
Our stay at the hotel
eliass237on 16/02/2017 02:05everything was perfect and in accordance with the offer, since our entry the Greeter welcomed us with a smile, the room was very spacious and overlooking the beach, just as we had asked for it. All orders that we'd done in the reserve were met
Smallest Piece of Spain in Africa
Yetikkm Mon 22/01/2017 19:33I haven't known that Spain has a small piece of Land in Morocco, Mediterranean coats near Nador. As expected two extreme world is next to each other. Melilla is an Oasis. Little Spain, lots of restaurants, shops and a Port. If you are lucky enough, like myself, you can bump into a Festival Around Jan 6-7. Hotel is a very nice historical Arabian, Spanish Mediterranean hotel at the Port area, at the heart of the city next to the Park and shopping area. Front desk is very friendly and it is cheaper than I expected, 76 euros for a large room with a small balcony with a sea view. Strong recommendation.
