Rosie434on 10/04/2017 16:17This hotel has no hairdryers in the rooms nor ironing boards but can be borrowed. Carpets were dirty and rooms tatty. Beds comfortable and clean as bathroom. As we were on coach tour hotel cafe closes its kitchen at 9 p.m. and you don't arrive until after this. However they did put on a meal of sorts in the self service restaurant, however
the main a la carte restaurant was not available at all during our stay even though it was over the weekend and the hotel is some distance away from any pubs or restaurants. Not the ideal place to stay. Staff on the other hand were reasonably co-operative and polite. Breakfast was average.

daniel con 29/01/2017 21:01good enough for a short stay, room was warm enough, staff is friendly, did not have dinner there but breakfast is ok, though there was not much coffe left when i got down :-)
close to the medieval town of Gorinchem and close enough to Rotterdam and Utrecht, and not far either from Eindhoven airport if you have a car to move around in.
One night only if you have to

For one night only is quite acceptable, you have a MacDonalds and a Starbucks next door and that's about it. The rooms are old and degrated, breakfast is very very basic for €14 and the service is not great. since there is a Starbucks next door, you're better served there.

They have a great restaurant with grat burgers and many great beers
Also the breakfast took place with a lovely atmosphere, it was like a big family there.
The inner design of the restaurant was so cool.
Our room was not so big but had enough place for everything.
Business Stay in Meerkerk
Pierre Son 04/09/2015 17:03I needed to stay near Gorinchem and this was the only available hotel. I did not expect too much, the reception, bar & restaurant all looked very nice, the staff and welcome was really nice, the hotel is located just off the highway, close to a Starbucks and garage, the room however was very very old and tired, with ripped wallpaper, but was dry and clean, the bed comfy and pretty quiet, the level of quality in the room really let it down which was a shame.
