OK for an overnight stay
Rowena Hon 17/06/2017 18:24For some reason the hostess kept trying to get us to change the room we booked, probably because it is the back of the house where her family resides. The room itself was fine and clean. The breakfast was OK, so we had to stop later to find a bakery.
They can't do enough for you
sltrippon 15/06/2017 01:51This is such a nice, homey place. It is not modern and the innkeepers pride in utilizing the old to create beauty in today. Nancy serves a gourmet breakfast and if you go away hungry, it is your own fault!! She and Larry seem to have thought of everything that would make a stay with them so inviting. The property is well kept and the 2 dogs come out to greet with doggie smiles and tails wagging.
Marvelous B&B
Jane Lon 08/08/2016 16:55My husband and I spent the night and it was delightful. Swing, screened in porch, fireplace in living room. Wonderful breakfast of eggs Benedict, pancakes with rhubarb (don't under estimate it) and bacon and sausage, Juice and coffee. Hosts Nancy and Larry were well informed about area. Sheets on bed were so nice and comfortable.
First time at a B & B
Catherine Gon 06/06/2016 16:39From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we were awestruck! It got only better from there. Nancy came out to great us and Larry was right inside the kitchen. They are two of the most lovely people we have met in a long time. They not only made us feel very at home, they were very helpful with everything for our stay. Nancy almost literally gave me the shirt off her back. I left my clothes behind. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous and when leaving it was raining, so Larry moved the car closer to the door so we did not have to go get the car ourselves. When leaving we felt we had stayed at a friend's house and would recommend that you stay here on your next trip up there! Will definitely be going back!
Beautiful B&B, outstanding breakfast
Boston-Tea-Drinkeron 22/05/2016 22:10We stayed at Tumble Inn the first weekend in December on our visit to Fort Ticonderoga. The Inn was in the process of being decorated for Christmas and looked so beautiful. The first morning we were greeted with a fruit cup that looked like santa.. strawberry cap with marshmallow for the pom pom.. I couldn't believe the attention to detail...the rest of the breakfast was equally amazing with stuffed French toast eggs bacon sausage homemade muffns...we had it all and somehow didn't feel stuffed or like we had over eaten. It was a perfect balance of food...we weren't hungry for the rest of the day until dinner time. Breakfast the next day was just as amazing as the first day. We stayed in the spring room which was so beautiful. The bedding was so warm and comfortable and the fireplace in the room was so cozy. The living room had a fireplace that was relaxing and a nice way to end the day. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor hot tub. Our hosts were friendly and helpful recommending places to eat and just chatting with us about our activities of the day. It was so nice to spend the weekend relaxing in a beautiful inn with nice people and delicious food.
