asadia2017on 14/05/2017 04:34You are charged more on the weekend but the room does not get cleaned on Sunday. If there is an issue, the office is closed. Checkout time there was no one around. We had to just leave the key in the room.
We like the location and there have been renovations in some of the rooms but the good vibes we had in prior years are gone.
There appear to be tenants on the second floor rather than hotel guests. Never saw the owner the entire six days we were there. Just one employee who appeared to be out of sorts. I guess she had to do everything. Nice lady but clearly overworked.

Louise Lon 24/03/2017 22:13We stayed for three days at the beginning of our vacation and three days at the end of our vacation in St Martin. It's clean and comfortable. Close to many good restaurants and entertainment. Free parking right in front of your unit. Well equipped kitchen cable TV, free Internet, beach towels. We will be staying there again in April 2017 prior to our time share stay and again in may at the end of our timeshare stay. Close to the airport but we were not bothered by the noise.

We needed a place to sleep for our last night on St Maarten and booked here. Room was more than we needed but comfortable and clean.
I would not hesitate to come back here and will probably be in February 2018 (wink wink).

Great spot to explore the island
NessieBoon 06/08/2016 20:34This place is clean and quiet. I went with my daughter and we appreciated having a full kitchen so we could go to the local market and buy fish to cook. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed. The beds were fine, nothing special but a good, safe place to sleep.
The grounds are well-kept with a small dipping pool which we used a couple times. It is a short walk to the beach which is only OK. You could easily walk it but beware of dogs off-leash as there are a few on the beach. The water seemed more like swimming in a working harbour with boats coming and going. Best to go to some of the beaches near-by.
Really did not see much of the hotel manager as it was Christmas and was probably busy. What little contact we had was fine.

ChaletLaMaron 08/05/2016 14:44Do not let the immediate surroundings or even the external appearance of this hotel frighten you. This is very convenient place, perfectly clean, very pleasant and helpful manager and staff. Close to the airport, to a nice beach, and to several restaurants.
